Well Prince.org is also a "community" of people. It is simply because of the fact that our members DO want to talk about news and other topics that the current site exists in its current state. This site has evolved to meet the needs of its membership. The old Org (black and purple) was very clearly deficient in such respects - people wanted to talk about more than just Prince, so most of the discussion was off-topic. Certainly, no one really comes to Prince.org for the latest world news - that would be ridiculous. But there is absolutely nothing ridiculous about someone wanting to discuss the news or whatever with their friends on the Org. | |

The news pages were excellent, although always going off topic!
Most of all it was Bart's old posts and the flames that boy got! Shit, there were some hard-ass orgers who wouldn't take any crap back then! I love the new org but i guess the one thing I miss from the old org was the hilarious flame wars that went on involving Bart, sfarrell etc.
One thing people forget though is that the old org would become boring for days at a time if no new news was posted. You know, I actually used to get some work done in those days. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |
