No, not familiar with it. And I'm cool with Tyler Perry. But seeing sooo much new Madea stuff now, really isn't instilling my faith in him playing Alex Cross, then again who knows he might surprise folks. *fingers crossed*

Seriously, Tyler needs to give the Madea character up. She's getting old and isn't as funny as she used to be.

I think they did a version of this on TBN like 5 years ago. I'll have to let some of the older people in my church and the women's ministry know. They love Madea. I was justdriving home last night and my girlfriend from Brasil looked at me and said, "Girl, I AM Madea". She's one of the heads of the women's ministry and Madea watching parties with brasilian soul food are a tradition at her house. lol

If the Simpsons can run for 23 seasons, why cant Tyler Perry's character?

Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Madea's Christmas? Really? Hell, I don't know why I'm complaining I know my ass gon be gettin the bootleg and laughing my ass off at it. SMH at myself lol. I rather enjoyed Happy Family, THE PLAY. His movies aren't nearly as good as his plays. I'm behind on the times, I need to go and research everything he's done since the Big Happy Family play. I had no idea about this play or the other one mentioned.

I do think Madea is getting a bit worn out. But I ain't mad at Tyler, I would dress up like an old woman too if that made me a millionaire lol.
