back n the day most of the cops in my area wore mirrored lens sunglasses. that's how i discovered them. i thought they looked cool. my first pair cost $189 (now cost around $81-$99.). after that i started wearing knock-offs in several different colors to match my summer outfits. also Mirror lenses are available with up to 100 percent ultraviolet (UV) light protection. they protect the eyes better than most sunglasses.
