For me that is. I'm currently on vacation from my full time job (for my b-day last week) and so I'm dedicating today to applying for a 2nd job part time, as I'm in need of one badly. Any of you currently searching for a part time job for whatever reason or already working a 2nd job part time?

You're welcome. I work mornings at a cat shelter, and in the afternoon/evenings, I do pet sitting. The money isn't great, but I love animals, so I enjoy it.

Oh that's great. That's what I'm trying to do, at least find a part time job doing something I enjoy. My full time job is stressful enough. I don't need two stressful jobs.

Oh that's great. That's what I'm trying to do, at least find a part time job doing something I enjoy. My full time job is stressful enough. I don't need two stressful jobs.

I know what you mean about stressful jobs. Been there, done that.

I just applied for one a Meijer yesterday. I hope I get called because I could really use the extra money. But, unemployment is very high here in Michigan so I'm thinking they might choose people who don't have job over people who are already employed full time who are just looking for a temporary second job. I remember back in the day when you could just walk into these retail places and get hired on the spot. Not anymore. Now, you have to compete with 100 other people for one stocker position.

I know what you mean. Good luck in hearing back from job you applied for. I hope I hear something too. If not, it's going to be a dry Christmas. Really dry.
