I think the lockout will end around January, which is fine with me. The NBA regular season is too damn long to begin with - 82 games is ridiculous. Do it like the 1999 season, which was perfect.

This benefits talented, veteran-laden teams with little turnover in personnel or coaching. Like the Celtics, who get to play fresh for their last plausible run at a title. It could really benefit the Spurs as well.
I'd say the Lakers would benefit but they're getting a new coach in whom I as a Lakers fan have little faith. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

The NBA season should be 30 games and about 30 mins of playing time. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I disagree. I think it's cool. I think it only becomes tedious and boring when you have about 3 to 4 teams that legitimately has a shot at winning the whole thing. When you have 8 to 10 teams that can legitimately win the title it makes for a better season. Baseball is ridiculous with 162 games and needs to cut it in half. Don't laugh at my funk

NBA is a billion dollar buiness; the debate is, how will those billions of dollars will be distributed. That's why NBA players have a union, nothing of value is never never ever given away voluntarily. If people are pissed because they're making crumbs, stand up and fight or get kicked in the ass.

According to the world wide leader, the players may be interested in forming a winter league.
Vegas would be the perfect spot. They could even get TV rights to broadcast.
These players have much more leverage than virtually any other group of players in any other major American team sport because they can perform without the need for a lot of equipment, logistics, or for that matter, coaching. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
