Yes this is a venting thread. I can't stand a fuckin' liar. Why do some people knowingly tell lies for no purpose at all? I don't get it. Is it because they want to see how much of a fool they can try and make out of person? Then when you call them out on their shit, they get all defensive Why get defensive when you KNOW you are lying and got caught???? This is why I cut people off because folks who do this aren't worth my time and energy.

Im like the film liarliar id rather upset some1 than lie...............infact eye get in more trouble telling the truth........WTF... ........Eye think alot of people lie cuz the truth hurts...

Two type of people I never surround myself with is a liar and a thief. You can't trust either one.

Oh my God...I need to weigh in on this shit. I know someone, and they LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE, and right to my face. I can tell when they're lying too, and for no fucking reason!! What's worse is that it makes me not even trust that person with the smallest things.

Exactly. Especially if you have to lie about the most smallest, dumbest things. Like if you say you were at one place and I know for a fact you wasn't. Or if you say you apologized for something but I know you never did. Shit like that irks the fuck out of me. It's damn near the worst form of disrespect because the liar actually believes that you are dumb enough to believe their lie. Or even lower than that, when you call them out, they try to use reverse psychology and make it seem like something is wrong with you or your memory. That's the part that turns my damn stomach.

I cannot stand liars and I get blasted for rooting them out all the time. Doesn't matter to me if the lie is big or small. If the lie is big, what the fuck you lyin for? Pony up because the punishment is always worse when they find out you lied. And if its small, what the fuck you lyin for? No one gives a shit about those ineffectual details you have besmirched your integrity with by lying about.

One time I heard a good friend having a conversation with someone and he totally told a straight up lie. He smudged the truth like ink on a page. I was amazed because it sounded so flawless; I wish I could've seen him to note if he was working a poker face at least.

I don't understand why people lie. I mean, beside harmless little white lies, when you lie to someone it's like you're lying to yourself too.

I almost fell in love with someone who was a CHRONIC liar... but it sometimes takes time for lies to unravel themselves and you can really see the people who try to get into your life. Sometimes people want to be seen a certain way SO badly that they just fabricate and fabricate the most intricate lies. Or they do it because they think you wont like them if they just told the truth... If only they'd realize that people much prefer humble people who just are what they are than someone who lies constantly to be something theyre not. No ones perfect. And mature people realize that. There's never any need to try to pretend to be.
