I Torrent alot to either get rare movies or to test try a movie. I love Blu-rays, so I buy movies if they're good. But Torrents are pretty safe to get if you know where to go & how to read people's comments as to what's legit & what is a virus. I've rarely ever caught any viruses from Torrents...

Yeah I only ever played part 2. Another decent horror game on PS2 is Siren. It does get a little repetitive though and start to feel like Metal Gear with Zombies. Got to agree with KidaDynamite on Left4Dead though. Love the series, fun as hell with 4 players, but not really scary too me. I don't know that it is really meant to be in all of it's arcadiness.

Siren is crazy! I played that a long time ago, but I never got through the whole thing. I still think Silent Hill 2 & Condemned 1 & 2 are to of scariest game ever though...Dead Space 1 & 2 are kinda scary too

Too large an arsenal makes it less scary for me. And the way they did the whole camera thing is actually quite creative with all its upgrades and special abilities and combos and what have you. Plus it adds to a little something to the ambience of the game I think.

Might not be for everyone, but I find it has a generally scarier atmosphere (per wikipedia: The series' plot deals with ghosts, exorcism, and dark Shinto rituals) that for me is a bit more disturbing, frightening, etc. than a man-made virus and all the laboratory type settings of many of the RE games. It's more on par with Silent Hill in that regard.I like the darker games based on the supernatural.

That said I love me some Left4Dead. More replay value than most of these games, especially with the multiplayer mode.

I hear you. I guess I should play it before I pass any real judgement on it. It does look good, just a liitle low energy for me.
