It's all about the TIGERS nod

We have the best pitcher, best hitter and best closer....and a solid team.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

It kills me watching Valverde breakdance on the pitcher's mound at the end of every game he closes.

I love the way Boston "fans" are blaming Gerardi for sitting his stars and "allowing" the Rays to mount that monster comeback last night.

You cant take 2 of 3 from the fucking Orioles in Sept with the playoffs on the line and you want to blame others? Never mind your 6-16 record or whatever they posted in the last month.

Red Sox Nation... falloff

On a side note...congratulations to my Dodgers for finishing STRONG. They could have easily packed it in in July but instead they fought fought fought! Dodger Blue Baby!! Dodger Blue!!

Clayton Kershaw = CY YOUNG

Matt Kemp = MVP

Frank McCourt = JACKASS

blunt music She has robes and she has monkeys, lazy diamond studded flunkies.... music blunt

the Phillies have been my team since the mid 1970s , when they couldnt win shit .

This team is amazing - the best in baseball this year and the best pitching staff I have ever seen in Philly .

They overcame alot this yr (Oswalt hurt, Rollins, Utley, Polanco and Howard missing alot of time) , NO relief pitcher for the first half or so , etc ...

... but they play St Louis first . they are like 3 - 6 against them this yr . Ouch .

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

Tigers are no joke, and the Yankees have struggled in the first round the past several years.

I was listening to WFAN. Apparently, some in Red Sox Nation are ticked with Giradi for the way he managed last night's game. Please. Teams that clinched don't owe other teams jack shit. If the Red Sox handled their business, they'd be playing tomorrow.

Ah, the days of Mike Schmidt, Bake McBride, and Greg Luzinski. But they finally won in 1980 with the addition of Rose.

Am I the only one a bit sad that TBS has the Division series games? I don't have cable and ordering that playoff game special so you can watch the games online was a complete DISASTER last year, it kept cutting out and it seemed to happen right at key points in the game. I won't ever order that mess again! I read tons of complaints from other folks who ordered the games to watch online and they say it was bad too....anybody else have that happen to them before?

Trolls be gone!

i don't even understand why tbs has games since they used 2 have the braves on this station all day long them dropped them. but they get the playoffs? i don't even think they have games on during the regular season! it would make more sense for espn 2 have it but then again that would cut into their time 2 talk about football all damn day

Hoping the Yankees LOSE so I no longer have to deal with their obnoxious fans on my evening commutes. (I live along the same subway line they take to the stadium so my already overcrowded subway is packed with drunk Yankee fans when all I want to do is go home. mad )

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

first of all, peace out Francona.

second of all, Rays fans should keep in shit in perspective. You're not beating us 4 games out of 7, you don't have the offense.

THIRD! Hug a nut Verlander. You deserve the Cy Young, not the MVP. rolleyes Pitchers already have their MVP award....the CY YOUNG! It's not like he won 35 games, pitched 300 innings or got 800 strikeouts....that would constitue an MVP.

whatevs to that, come get some of this Tigers fan. You know you're scared of the Bombers.

fat CC will be on POINT tonight.

jersey i agree with u 100 on that. verlander pitches once ever 4-5 days compared to someone who busts their ass 100 plus more games a season day in and day out. if verlander was 2 win the mvp then i guess nick swisher should win the cy young right?

and i'm still pissed off that last year CC got snubbed for "king" felix with his .500 record
