My thing with piercings is there is usually a stereotype. I'm the exception and I pride myself on incorporating the as you say "sweetness" and "edginess" that I love into my look. I don't know, that's just me.

The fact that I have self-made holes in my body means nothing except I like them.

I get kinda "over" my nipple piercings until someone plays with them or the wind hits them. (Weeee!) The thing I hate is that people feel that because I have them I like to have them played with AGGRESIVELY. No!!!!!! I've had them since 2001.

I love my tongue ring. No particular reason. Some people can't feel it. I had that done in 1994 after I broke up from a horrible 8 year relationship.

For me it's the opposite. I feel my shirt rubbing up against them and everything. The only thing is that if someone roughs them up they really hurt. Also, when it gets cold my nipples get sore.

This is how I felt when I had the piercing.

Without it, as long as you can ease off a bit if I say "less" we're good to go.

Piercings don't have to be "all or nothing". I think people who take their jewelry out and let it stay out long enough to close just don't really want the piercing any more.

Most people I know with something pierced (myself included) kind of just get used to it as apart of the body.... If you get tired of looking at it for some reason, but don't want to risk it closing, you could always get a retainer to put in

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for , thanks so much. I think there are some jobs were you just don't want to have them visible. For me, as I have said before, I want to try my hand at acting and therefor piercings of the face could limit me completely. There are not a whole lot of roles for females who are 50 never mind with facial piercings!

I loved the fact that in a way I was decorating my body - One of the bars that I used to wear had a finger on each side so it looked as if my nipple was being pinched, it was so legend

I'd love to get it re-done but I don't think I'd be able to go through the pain again

My nipples arnt fat enuf 4 piercings....Dave has tiny nipples...Eye realy cant c me enjoying that at all Mya....Ur bar sounds great very cute...

What is going on with ear piercing for gay guys? My roomate has a teeny tiny diamond that he wears when he goes out late, just one. He is 48 and I am wondering if this is soooo dated, the one hole thing. Should he be moving on to two?
