Nope, not my thing and I don't really care for them on women either. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Its generally best to leave body piercings in all the time, even after they've healed. Not the kind of things you take in and out, in and out.
I had two short barbell surface piercings across the top of my penis, about an inch behind the foreskin. So when erect there was the head bump, then two bumps from the barbells. I saw them in a RE/Search magazine when I was young, working at Tower Records. I thought they looked cool then, ten years later I didn't really care for them anymore.
Random thought: I think it was actually Genesis P Orridge who had them.

That is what I would figure. It would also be awesome if I didn't know the guy had jewelry and then he put it on while in the bedroom simply for the purpose of pleasuring me . Just watching him put it in and knowing why would start sending my through the roof! There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. No. I once sat down and drew a tattoo. It started out as a labrinth up my back with my name and dob on it, then it was surrounded by what looked like a cross between a cast iron fence and a corset. Then there was an angel opening the gate to the corset. Tnen there were flowers around the labrinth. Then flowers, vines around the fence. Then some vines were added that trailed off to my shoulder and then down my arm. Then I thought of adding fairies.
Then I realized I was well on my way to a body stocking and that I would never ever get just a little tatoo. This was back in 1996 or so. I know me. NO TATOOS. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

I used to have my nipple pierced (got it done twice, the reason one sticks out more than the other, scar tissue). I liked the way it looked. I have SUPER sensitive nipples and I didn't find it added one bit of fun sexually. In fact, it would get infected and bother me often so quite the opposite, which is why I took it out.
Been with a dude or two with dick piercings. I wouldn't say that added anything (well, if u wanna get literal it added a piece of metal ) to sex. It was cool, but I also had to worry about breaking my bottom teeth on it (even if you're careful about keeping teeth off the dick AND YOU SHOULDDDD unless asked to use them, big dick piercings seem to always manage to bang against them) or worried it might come out during some other business. Huh. This is the RE/Search I would stand and read at lunch all those years ago. Totally changed my point of view on body modifications. Still available on Amazon, too, which is pretty amazing considering it was first printed in 1989.

At first I was like, "why not his top teeth?" But then I was like, "oh... never mind".
You have NO IDEA how close I was to quoting before the edit.

Wow, funny how everyones reason for doing it is completely different. I am amazed at the extent some people go to and have shows hanging from pierced body parts. It both makes my skin crawl, my mouth feel acidic, and facinate the shit out of me! There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. I would think this would get even more complex if you yourself had a tongue ring. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

I have a frenum and dydoe piercing. I initially wanted another tattoo, but went for a piercing instead so I think I did it for the buzz. I still have them 10 years on and I have never had to take them out to avoid "looks" Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I have 2 piercings in each ear, but I only don't ever wear earrings in the 2nd holes.
I used to have my tummy button pierced (when I was young anf thinner), but I decided I didn't like it and got rid of it after a few weeks. It closed quickly but left me with quite a big scar.
I toyed with the idea of getting my tongue pierced, but never dd it.

The thing I hate about people who have their tounges pierced are they are always playing with it in their mouth... Its just irratating and distracting, but not in a good way... Plus, they always sound like they have shit in their mouth or a lisp... ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

That lisp generally goes away with time. They just have to re-learn how to talk with the piercing. The playing with it thing, I would imagine, depends more on the individual involved. I find that really annoying too, though.

The thing I hate about threads about body piercings is people not posting pics of their body piercings.

Ok you two... Whats not true? This has been my observation of the many people I have met with tounge piercings.. ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

How old are the people you have seen and how long have they had their piercings?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I have only met one person who played annoyingly with her tounge piercing as you described, and she was a teenage girl... they are always annoying anyway.
Everyone else I've met with one was totally normal with it. If you will, so will I

Me neither. I'm not a fan of body piercings at all. My ears are pierced - one hole in each. [Edited 9/29/11 10:42am]

Oh, probably 20's... Have no clue how long they had them... I didnt know them personally... Just met them at various functions or establishments... ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

If they are that young then I'm guessing they have not had their piercings for very long and it's still a novelty to them. I have had mine for over 16 years now and I don't play with it at all and neither do any of my friends that have one and are close to my age. Most of the time I forget I even have it. It has become almost like another tooth now.
