What Do I Do with this F&$&ing Cat?

There are a lot of cats around my building, and the owners let them go outside.

Mostly they co-exist peacefully, but there is this one cat that does not even seem to belong to anyone at our building, and it just cannot seem to accept the others.

Every morning it comes near my window and begins to howl at one of the others.

6 in the morning, waking up to yowling cat is not my favorite alarm

WTF do I do?

First I waited for the cats to just get used to each other, but it has been months

then I (and at least one other neighbor) started throwing cups of water

then I got a squirt gun

this morning I chased it away

I think it belongs to someone, just nobody in my building. But it doesn't let anyone come near.

I actually love cats, but I have thought some evil thoughts about this one.

Take it to the humane society or local no-kill shelter.

Then someone can give it a lovely home and it won't bother you again.

It's a weird thing, letting your pet run wild in other peoples' yards.

Not to mention I live in the middle of the city. confused

Ice water? tranqualizer darts? shrug that's not nice, but then that cat is inconsiderate, first, so...

I've never had one do that like clock work, it's usually so random that I just deal with it for the moment.

exactly, usually catfighting is occasional and random.

In this case it's not even fighting (although it has definitely gotten in some fights), it's just saying good morning! Morningsong, if you will lol They see each other all the time and this cat just has to whine about it.

My sister in law was trying to keep cats out of her garden (they thought it was their litter box) so she got Coyote pee.

I was there when she opened the container, and across the whoe yard I almost vomited lol

it didn't work

Birds feel wayyy sorry for cats (dogs too, for that matter) because cats cannot fly. at least, not for very long. smile

Pussy is crying for attention from you. Just feed him, talk to him and after a while, when the two of you are friends, try to reason with him. The two of you will be just fine.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Never heard of that. Can you put the balls on the soil itself or does it need to be in a container so they don't harm the plants? Moth balls are cheap, they even have them at the 99 cent store.

falloff X 548,295,971!

I'm not much for cats either, but I have to draw the line somewhere. And I have no idea how you get rid of them.

Maybe throw water on it? Don't cats hate to get wet? Spray it with a hose for a couple mornings and see what happens.
