This reminds me of an afghan my mom crocheted.

I work with Missoni pieces on a regular basis- you gotta see and feel 'em up close to appreciate 'em lol

It almost looks like it has a mini dress under it, ending where the rat tail begins. I agree, it would look very cool shorter. I like the sleeves on this one.

Me too, but it's the pattern I like the most. I'm not really a fan of the big oversized chevron.

God knows I love to shop but I'll be damned if you catch me lining up for hours and pushing and shoving people, damn near fighting to the death over some clothes. Regular shopping is fun but stresses me out too so I would never ever dream of doing that. I've never tried to go to one of these things, not even for Black Friday. I remember when Cavali came to H&M for two weeks or something and my girlfriends were all excited. I'm like "Yea ya'll go ahead, you know what I like and my size. If you bring back sumthin' cute I'll just take it then."

And I'm not crazy about these Missoni clothes anyway.

Missoni for Target collection hits eBay, Craigslist

Just one day after the launch of the Missoni for Target collection brought the retailer's web site to its knees, a secondary market for the items -- many of which sold out in a matter of hours -- has already sprung up on eBay and Craigslist.

But shoppers eager to nab items from the limited edition of home goods, apparel and accessories better be prepared to pay a premium: The same Missoni for Target offerings on these sites are being sold for up to five times the original retail price.

A Missoni for Target throw in a classic colorful zigzag pattern that retailed for $39.99 is now being offered on eBay for close to $200 and one of the most hyped offerings, a three-speed bike (also with the trademark Missoni pattern), is being sold for $1,500 on Craigslist -- four times more than the original retail price.

Missoni for Target items ...Craigslist

Lauren Riley was one of the lucky few who were able to get online before Target's site crashed on Tuesday. "I just started buying," she said.

Although Riley originally intended to keep a few things for herself and give other items to her friends, she says she quickly changed her mind after she saw the potential to profit. Among other items, Riley is selling a Missoni for Target travel tote for $165 on Craigslist -- the original retail price: $34.99.

"Once I saw the high upsale I said, you know what I don't need it that badly," she said.

Although the markups are substantial, the prices are still significantly lower than Missoni's usual price point. A $39.99 Missoni for Target sleeveless sweater dress is available for $150 to $300 on the black market, but such offerings from the Italian designer would normally cost well over $1,000 at stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus (although those sweater dresses would be wool rather than polyester).

This latest collaboration is one in a long line of capsule collections Target has done since the inception of the GO International program in 2006, aimed to highlight high-end designers with mainstream appeal, all of which have been extremely popular.

"There's something about these collaborations that is infectious," noted Alexandra Greenawalt, a New York-based fashion stylist.

Previous collaborations with designers including Zac Posen, Rodarte and Thakoon have also resulted in lucrative second-market sales, but not to this extent, Greenawalt said.

Joshua Carter, a spokesman for Target, said some additional supply will trickle in to stores and online although supplies will vary by location.

"Target is aware of online auction sites carrying the Missoni for Target collection -- this is similar to past designer collections. We encourage guests to shop the collection at Target and Target.com to ensure they are getting the best deal and authentic product," he said.

The Missoni for Target collection will continue to be available through Oct. 22, pending availability.

lol Oh that's a no brainer....but many budget friendly lines at least attempt to make clothes that don't actually look so cheap even if they are. I have tons. Especially summer stuff that I've gotten good use out of and had for years, suprisingly without them looking worn out.

Really? By who? Everything I've seen at Kohl's with a celeb "designer" is paper thin, looks like it fades after a single wash, and has cheap/tacky buttons/embellishments. Don't even get me started on Daisy Fuentes' line. I'm surprised they'd actually attach their names to such inferior products. It don't have to breat the bank but at least have a lil quality.

I like a few things From Jessica Simpson's line in Macy's ... her sun hats are cute. They are "affordable" at $60- $100 . I would buy her accessories ... I am a big girl so I didn't bother looking at her clothing line. I stay in plus sized designers for that. New designers make shit clothing in plus size. I am TOO curvy to be wearing flimsy unlined clothes.

Yea you are right most of the the Kohl/Sears etc lines are really cheap looking and look nothing like they do in pictures or commercials when you staring at them in real life.

Honestly I don't really follow a lot of the low budget lines by designers but I did buy some stuff from Issac Mizrahi's line when he had it out and they were pretty good. Macys is great also for finding really cute stuff that don't break the bank and have a little quality, either by big names or no-names. Micheal Kors and Kenneth Cole have low budget lines also. They of course may not be as cheap as the other lines but I'd rather spend a little extra so that I can at least have it for a little while. And I absolutely love Lord & Taylors for dresses in particular. They have reasonable prices and insane sales. I cant count how many cute dresses I acquired this summer from them.

I remember Isaac's Iine and it really was nice. Like I said before, I spend the least on clothes and buy most of my clothes from Macy's or the Ralph Lauren web site. I only buy on sale unless it's a special ocassion dress. Now, you already how I get down with shoes and handbags, I know what I like and won't compromise on those. hmph!

I have a few Michael Michael Kors dresses but since this is his cheap line I've noticed that a lot of the material is super thin and clingy in a cheap suit kinda way. While the Lauren dresses always feel like good quality for the price. The avg Lauren dress is $140 but I usually pay $40-50 when they go on sale. cool

Yeah, I think Macy's has a min standard so you wouldn't see the shit you see at Kohl's there. Plus I see Jessica rocking her own and other cheaper brands all the time. Unlike the K-Hos. They prolly didn't know where the closest Sears was before this deal lol

Oh really? Things I've gotten from his line have aged well for me. But then again I guess it depends on what items you buy. Besides I buy so much that they dont go through too much wear and tear from washing because they are not worn so much. Hell I've had a $20 dress that I've had for close to ten years. I just dress it up with more expensive accesories and no one is none the wiser.

And yes Lauren dresses are great as well totally. In fact most of the stuff in the line, not just dresses.

I haven't bought anyting from Micheal Kors in a looong ass time, and I haven't really seen his lower priced line- but honest to goodness I do have some tailored pencil skirts from him that are 13 years old and still flawless, and those suckers have lycra in them too (which is kinda flattering to the body!).
