- I glanced at the clock about 35 minutes into the show and thought, "Really?!" The whole episode was anti-climactic to me. That Marnie crap should have taken no more than 15 minutes.

- I also thought, "They buried Gran in a nightgown?!"

- I know this is not a popular view, but I was sooooo tired of Tara and her angry ass. Buh-bye.

- Sookie...
There are no words for that annoying heifer.
Lines that made me giggle:
- "I liked you better when you were brain-dead"
- "We're feeling a little crispy up here"
- "...missionary, doggie, her on top..." / "Not HOW! How could you do this to me?!"
- "...unbelievably stupid name!"
- "Gay Storm-troopers"
Questions for next season:
- So with Jesus and Tara gone, what is Lafayette going to do with his powers?
- In the book, Eric helped Sookie get rid of Debbie's body... who will help that pain in the ass this time? (I hope they introduce Debbie's homocidal sister!
)
- Did Jason invite the Rev. in?

- How much fun is Russell going to be?

- What's up with Terry's friend?

I didn't get a chance to post last week, but my favorite moment of the season:
"Fuckin' Sookie"... Fuckin' Sookie... FUCKIN' SOOKIE?!... Yes, Fuckin'. Sookie. "

Yeah what is up with Terry's friend? He was looking at Arlene like "who the fuck is this bitch" when Terry introduced her as his wife.
To be honest, I was underwhelmed by the season finale. I don't have any questions really about next season, don't know why, but I just don't. I just see that the quality of where the show is going is heading down hill. So my estimation is that this show has about one to two season tops left.
So now that True Blood is done for 2011....on to BOARDWALK EMPIRE!!!! [Edited 9/12/11 4:51am]
can't get into that show so i'll have 2 wait until Hung comes on man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 |

i'm not counting tara on the hit list for these 2 reasons, lala is upstairs sleeping i think and with the return of jesus as a spirit to help lala heal tara or a vamp comes 2 help with tara as it was when sookie got shot and she healed.
Yeah... I was talking to someone, and he pointed out that head wounds bleed a lot, and Tara could have gotten grazed. He also reminded me that Tara is Sookie's best friend, so she's not going anywhere.
"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

i'm not saying tara hasn't done things that make me scratch my head but tara is needed on this show unless u would rather have someone like arlene talk instead of tara's scenes man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 |

I feel you but if she were to die, I'd still watch, now if it was Lafayette that was dying/dead, then I know I wouldn't be watching not one more episode of True Blood ever. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Rutina Wesley: ‘I’m coming back; But half my head is missing’ Tuesday, September 13, 2011 ‘True Blood’ fans were all atwitter on the social networking website Twitter.com during Sunday night’s epic finale. Entertainment Weekly’s Inside TV spoke exclusively with sexy ‘True Blood’ star Rutina Wesley about the shocking finale and whether or not Tara survives the gunshot that took off half of her head: ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What did you think when you read the season finale script? RUTINA WESLEY: Well I mean, I knew ahead of time that it was coming. It’s always a scary place as an actor to go there. In your mind, is Tara dead? Well I mean half my head is missing. I’m just gonna keep saying that. You know, it’s True Blood. I feel like anything is possible. If anything, it is the golden hour though. If she is able to be saved, it’s like she’s got 20 seconds. It’s not a lot of time. I’m curious to see what they’re going to do with all of it. I hope I’m back. But again half my head is missing [laughs]. It was crazy! Are people approaching you? Well my phone has been blowing up. I talked to Nelsan and his phone was blowing up. He was like, “People are about to start a riot over you.” I think that’s so sweet to know that people out there are really upset and some people are like, “I’m not watching the show anymore!” I’m like, C’mon guys. But it’s not over. It ain’t over til the fat lady sings. I’m just gonna take it one day at a time. As I said, I haven’t seen any scripts from next season, but I know that I’m involved — I just don’t know in what way. Are you signed on for a season 5? Yeah. It’s out there that Alan has already said that he has big plans for Tara. But things change. I don’t know exactly what they have in store for me and how long that will be. It’s tricky. And if I did know, I’m just not going to say. [Laughs] But again — half the head is missing. The cool part is people are talking. And that’s the question is: Is she dead or is she not? Because people can survive head wounds. But we have people on the show that can make things happen — you know what I mean? I don’t know what’s going to happen the first episode of next season. I’m just as excited and curious you are. I hope it’s good. I hope I stick around for a while. That would be nice. [Laughs] |

Yeah just saw that HUGE SPOILER on www.true-blood.net via www.tvline.com
Rutina Wesley has been renewed for Season 5, so she knows she'll be back, but does not know in what form, human or spirit or vampire or (hell this is True Blood) other. She also could just be back to finish that scene and a funeral, so who knows.
HUGE SPOILER to spill so soon after the Season 5 finale, but there we go. [Edited 9/13/11 9:16am] I'm firmly planted in denial |

I think the show needs a potent rival for the Vamps' affections. Then you'll see Sookie's true colors.
A return to the central storyline -- vampires' coexistence with society and each other -- would also help tremendously. Whatever the faults of the finale, it appeared that the writers may have pared down some of the storylines and cast to get back to just that.
I agree on both accounts.
I mean, really, Sookie's been playing with house money for the last two seasons, with both of them wrapped around her finger. Pam's a much better mate for Eric (a lot of bitter, a little sweet), but he ignores her, and I hope that comes back to haunt him. But someone new who walks in and sways E or B or both would drive Sookie crazy.

Don't sweat it.
Apparently we've had HBO for years at my home, but I only just found out a few weeks ago because I've been watching my favorite shows on project-freeTV.com. If you go the same route, you'll be only a few hours behind the HBO subscribers here at worst. You'll hardly miss it. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
