So its a Saturday night, with nothing to do :)

So I guess I will be sitting here asking people what they do on their saturdays! cool

What are your plans for the holiday weekend and for tonight?

What do you usually do on Saturdays, what did you do when you were in your 20s?

I was invited out by this dude (1) and then I was invited out by my friend (2) So me thinking I had 2 places to go gets up kinda early and yet, still very sleepy. So since I was so tired and didn't have a clue of what I was gonna wear, I told invite #2 that I was just gonna stay home and get ready for invite #1. I went out to look for some cute shoes (and found them) but they were too much money, so I ended up leaving empty handed, only to get a text from invite #1 telling me that they can't make it again because their family is here from Canada and can he get a rain check. Soooo, I ended up going nowhere! Team Inviters - 2 Team Me - 0

Friends don't come in a forthnight. And you won't make friends when you stay in the house.

Maybe attending a hobbyclub, course or sportclub? IMO it's a good idea to go to places where you can meet people with the same interests (besides the org).

In my 20's, I would have been out with friends partying or club hopping. That was long ago!!

Last night, I watched a movie with my husband. Most Saturday nights, I'm doing homework these days but I'm on break. smile

Tonight, we're going to a cook out at my sister's house. I get to see my niece who is home from college. smile

Tomorrow, we're going to a cook out at my stepdaughter's house. Pretty relaxing weekend!

I stayed in. I ordered a take-away, drank beer then lay on the sofa and watched TV.

Every Saturday night, I drink and listen to music at home. When I was in my 20s, I was out whoring in the clubs. I'd still be out there now if shit hop hadn't taken over and made things as slow and dull as a Lawrence Welk concert. I'm far from "getting older" though. I remained young while the rest of the world developed the tastes of senior citizens. lol

I went to Valtifest, festival in Amsterdam where the visitors are dressed around a theme. This year the theme was 'Family'. It was great, many creative ideas and everybody really made effort of dressing up. I had a blast. I ran into some people I know and met new people. Had fun with random groups or individuals during the day and night.

Today I'm tired, however happy that I didn't drink that much and no drugs for me, so I don't have a strong hangover that bothers me today.

Really had a blast and cherish the memories.

I'm completely exhausted from work and trying to get going with this semester of school. dead But I managed to go out with the family all day yesterday. We capped off the night with an HBCU football game. My two young biys were going excited all night long and didn't want to leave.

Now I have to spend most of tomorrow getting prepped for worka nd trying to do homework.

What do you like?

I allways find birthdays as a popularity contest very tiring and no fun. Therefore, every year, I just sense what I feel like. Sometimes a party, sometimes going to a movie with one friend. Just depends.

Well last year was a bit dry, but this year I'm looking to make it really fun.

I love Cosmic Bowling, I don't really party much anymore but this year I also want to doll up and really just go somewhere fun. I already did the movies way too much lately lol, but I enjoy theme parks.. no one is really available for that sad. I love open mic nights and karaoke, all that type of stuff, but it seems it only going to be my friend and I so, I don't know what I can do.

Well, going to a karaoke bar and open mic night with your friend, actually sounds like a good fun night to me! What's stopping you from going and making it a fun night?

A friend of me allways told me that life is a party, however you have to bring your own decoration to it. wink
