Capital One... they are great at raping people's wallets, even if they can't pay. This is why they hand their cards out like candy.

Thank You Painted Lady! I do get app's for their card in the mail all the time, so nxt time I get one, I'll actually apply.
Everyone is GREAT! Kids are back to school. Madi is starting to sit on her own, and says MAMA and eats me out of house and home.
Yes, but we are already living lean lean LEAN and kinda at wits end financially and the moneys gotta come from SOMEWHERE. Guess it'll be capital one. I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure

Thank You for the advice, I know you care.......ugh....it's a last resort. I'm not sure if I will apply or not yet. I'm afraid to even print out my credit report.....and I have a feeling one of the debt collecters I gave 7 grand to last year was a sham. I'm not sure I even WANNA know. But blah blah, everyones in a rough spot financially right now.
How are things with you? [Edited 9/1/11 9:03am] I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure

Good actually... had a few financial issues myself. Babydaddy has stopped paying his son $$$ but the DOR caught up with him finally. So my son should have money for his books this coming semester, just in time too school starts back up for him in six days. He's at Notheastern University as a biology major.
As for the younger two kids... they start school on the 8th. The are excited.
I took a stolen bike from a kid that I thought was my son's bike... well that kid stole another bike and I told the police. He ducks when ever he sees me now.
I was turned down for a possible location for a beehive in the proposed community garden being built where I live. They don't want bees. I can't wait til they start school, I'll be free again to work in the gardens I tend to... they look like shit after the storm. We lost a lot of produce for the food project of SB.
Other than that things are pretty... well boring.

your daughter is growing up so fast...!
do not borrow money against a credit card. except for donald trump and the sort, very few can afford to borrow money at 18-23 % interest, which is what the credit card company will charge you for borrowing against the card.
That is to say, if you borrow a thousand, you'll owe 230$ plus the original thousand...
don't go there | |

It's super hard, but it's a much better idea to get $1000 saved for emergencies instead of having a $1000 credit card. Then you make payments to re-fill your savings, not to pay off Capital One, plus interest.
You can do it!! My Legacy

Please listen to these guys ... I agree with them. You really shouldn't pile on credit card debt if things are already tight.
The last thing you need is another bill. Just go without some things you may not really need.

I mean I had it in my head that I would just pay it off every month.
BUT, yeah right. Just thinking out of desperation I guess.

^^^Yes that.Go without cable-cutback on phone service or something to reduce monthly expenditures. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
