The gun collector in part 2, and the the statements from the company personel in part 3 about the types of clients they get, really disturbs me.

Then of course there's Dave in parts 3 and 4. Lawd, have mercy.

I understand that there are lonely people out there. But if you actually crave companionship, why a doll? It just seems a bit strange to me.

Why not get a doll strictly for the sex (if you're in to that type of thing), then get a pet dog instead?

I just think it's sort of strange. Like, something is wrong up in the brain.

Davecat is so intriguing to me. He is so fixated on his doll that he forgets that she's not human and doesn't feel anything. When he had to send her to the doll specialist, he said "We're going to miss each other." He would creep me out but he seems so harmless and quirky. I'm just so perplexed by him.

People are people are people are people.

I don't understand why a lot of people do the things they do. Sometimes I don't even know why I do the things I do. C'est la vie.

I meant the doll for sex, but the dog for companionship.
