Goal 1: Remember Uzie's birthday. Achieved. It's today.

Goal 2: Go see the Pride parade through the city tomorrow. Almost achieved, got a date for the event.

Goal 3: Start some courses/activities. Can't do it yet, waiting for my work coach to get back from holiday.

Goal 4: Get Uzie into swimming rehab. Can't do that either yet, they're also on holiday.

As my Sis Tina mentioned, I have a birthday in 19 more days... I'm planning to celebrate it in a "special way".

• (25th): The Prince Cover Band, "3121" in Atlantic City, NJ

Yeah...next week I am downloading a legal separation/divorce agreement so we can take it to a mediator and then a lawyer, and make the split legal.

I have lasted 7 months in that toxic environment, and as much as the company of my kids gives me happiness, I have confirmed that it's not good for me to be there. When I walk in the door my shoulders tense into granite knots. My stomach turns when I see her step outside to take a call (intellectually I have come to terms with the situation, but emotionally I can't). When I spend the night at my parents' I have a restful night's sleep...at home I wake up with bags under my eyes.

It's time. I did my duty by not splitting and leaving my kids homeless. Now that she's got a new job and can (hopefully) keep things together without me, I am more than ready to go.

Since my kids (and I) are born & bred pampered Long Islanders, I compromised and told him that I would be willing to buy a tent and plan a trip with him and his kids...but it would have to be at one of those campgrounds with restrooms & showers nearby.

As a kid I've been camping a lot, and thought it was wonderfull!

Actually, I def. feel like camping again........

I really didn't have it planned for August, but I wanted to get a tattoo of my mom's name. I ended up in a tattoo parlor with my sister's today and finally had it done.

Work hard. Harder than I have until now because it's my last year of college. My last year of taking classes, anyway. I want to stop hanging out so much with my classmates, get my shit together and get even better grades.
