Help with iTunes please?

In february I got prince the hits and b-sides and when I tried to download it onto itunes the sound came through really crackly and quiet both on the laptop and when I synced it with my phone. It's never happened with any other cd's I've tried just these, and the same effect was on all three cd's. I've put it on high quality and followed all the instructions for the best quality and it hasn't worked. Just wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem or knows how to fix it??

Thanks xoxo

Would you run to me if somebody hurt you even if that somebody was me?

If playing the CD on your computer is producing a crackly sound that means that the drive is having a problem in reading the CD for some reason.

Turn the CD over and check for any scratches or fingerprints and use a lint free cloth to clean it and try it again.

If the CD is in mint condition and it's still doing that, most likely the drive on your computer is starting to go. That means either having the drive replaced or purchasing an external one.
