Who are the best superhero archenemies?

Zod was the enemy of Superman's father Jor-El and thus became the enemy of Superman aka Kal-El. He was bad ass because of his absolute hatred for humanity, his undying vengeance and his superhero abilities (thanks to Earth's yellow sun) that rivaled Supermanss.

Doc Oc - Oh the poor sap. He was a villain but didn't intend to be. Those artificially intelligent tentacles warped his mind and turned him from a good natured scientist who wanted to help mankind to some...i dunno....weirdo.

Joker - He is the most mysterious to me. There have been many orgins for the Joker. He fell into a vat of toxic waste and went mad, he was an abused child who turned to a life of crime, he was some simple criminal who just liked to play pranks on cops.

I'm kind of digging these comic book character threads.

Which Joker? If it's Heath Ledger's Joker, there's absolutely no contest! I know we're talking about the comic versions, but the actors portraying them usually come into conversation, anyway...

Of THOSE 3^, my vote goes to The Joker.

I've always believe that Batman has a better rogue gallary than Superman OR Wonder Woman ever did in the DC Comics Universe.

^ Superman did have the entire Legion of Doom on his ass though. Bizzaro was crazy!!!!
