So we're not talking about fancy restaurants, right?
If I had one locally, I would include Taco Bueno (Texas chain that blows Taco Bell out of the water)
As for "fancy" restaurants...there's a place in NYC that I was taken to called Mayahuel that I would recommend a thousand times over. The food was fantastic and the drinks were amazing! By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

At work it's ALL we talk about.
Where to eat, what to eat, etc.
I even started a "dining club" for the office where we recommended restaurants and picked one at random a month.
Unfortunately, after the 2nd "meeting" it fell apart. No one could decide as to how to split the bill. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

As I get older, I HAVE to stay away from things I used to love eating.... since Imma fat ass.
You see, I eat at home mostly... but I cook with minimal fats. I use olive oil mostly.. sea salt, fresh herbs when ever possible, the freshest meats I can find. I have a butcher I purchase meats from daily so I NEVER keep any frozen meats in the freezer.... I am eating less and less fish also.
I rarely fry any foods... but I do eat large portions ... I feel great, UNTIL I eat out.
I got chest pains last time I ate out. I had a Asian fusion meal at a restaurant with lots of sushi, veggies.... the duck and the tuna was amazing!!!
My meal was VERY fresh.. at a fancy restaurant and a NEW joint less than a week old in Boston (The Red Lantern- AWESOME food! )
But I think restaurants use too many oils and salts to make food taste good, more than we at home normally do... the food is awesome... but even if you just eat veggies, one must be VERY careful.
I shouldn't get chest pains from eating sushi and drinking mai-tais.
I still love my dives though.... Mikes diner, Wendy's, Alfredo's (best steak & cheese subs on the planet!) , Dunkin Donuts, Simco's... but I can't eat out of those places too much anymore.

I feel the same exact way about Red Lobster...the only good thing there is the cheddar biscuits, everything else can slide on a seafood slope to hell. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

Not a big fan of chain restaurants:
But the ones I like:
Cheese Cake Factory Anthony's Palomino
You can find info on all the restaurants on line.
McDonald's (for fries only)
I like individual restaurants best.

Not really in an order because it changed depending on the day and what's going on
1. Panera Bread 2. Olive Garden 3. Pizza Hut 4. Subway 5. Any good Japanese restaraunt

^^^ Panera is good! A bit pricey (as compared to Subway for example) but really good.
AND HOW COULD I FORGET???
They no longer have them on Long Island, but I grew up on Roy's fried chicken! One of the highlights to any roadtrip that I take where Iget to drive on the Jersey Turnpike is hitting Roy's in one of the service areas. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!
