I love the fact that the hookup host is blind.
The visitor sits in front of him with this offer to explore something deeper than just a sexual hookup, and the guest being so good lucking and fit doesn't really have anything to offer the host visually, leaving him with no choice but to explore something deeper if he wishes to continue along the path offered by the host.
It's a modern story stripped down to its core and unflynching in it's execution.

But I actually wish the title would better reflect the angle of the narrative you bring up here. More than a general slowness, the short has to do with being forced to offer something other than the same ol' same in a scenario where superficiality reigns. I love that.
