I can´t stand Bruce Willis.

I really can´t. I´ve tried to like him as a person, I tried to like his movies, and yes, Die Hard pt.I was kinda okay when I was a kid, and his TV series was kinda okay too (Moonlight or whatever it was called)....but the older he gets, the more he gets on my nerves. I don´t know what it is.

He´s the only actor whose made three movies that I could not watch any longer then 20 minutes, then I brought them back to the video store. This only happened to me with Bruce Willis movies (one of those movies being Hudson Hawk).

It´s nothing political, I don´t mind that he´s a jingoistic Republican who has a very limited intellectual grasp of world politics, there are lots of conservative American actors that I still like and admire. It´s just that I find him very uninteresting as an actor. And I don´t understand his appeal at all. Women all over the world seem to adore him but frankly, I don´t understand what those women like about him.

Sometimes he DOES make a movie that I like, but only because the other actors in the movie are interesting, or maybe the plot. But, all in all, I can´t stand Bruce Willis.

But....I prefer him over Kevin Costner any day, and I really would love to meet him one day and have a chat over a cup of coffee just so I don´t have to dislike him so strongly anymore.

I like Bruce, it's just these last few interviews I've seen him in make me kinda worried for him. But he's been in the game so long maybe he was playing the interviewer, who knows.

he has been good when he is cast properly (moonlighting, Pulp Fiction, What Just Happened, Die Hard) but no I can't stand him.

Die Hard 1 was ok...when I was a kid, but now... . I agree with the OP.

Moonlighting remains the best thing Bruce Willis has ever done. He was truly great in it. And super hot too.

I like Bruce Willis. He is a good actor and seems like a cool guy. Loved him in Pulp Fiction. The problem however, is that he practically always plays the part of the troubled, good guy/cop, who saves the world from all the bad guys or some natural disaster. Of course, that's what he is really good at, but it becomes a bit lame and stale after dozens of such flicks.
