You all know what Sniglets are?

They are words that don't appear in the dictionary but should.

Examples are:

Accordionated (ah kor' de on ay tid) - adj. Being able to drive and refold a road map at the same time.

Cigadent (sig' a dent) - n. Any accident involving a cigarette: for instance when it sticks to your lips while your fingers slide off and get burned.

Okay, you get the point.

This thread is devoted to Org Sniglets, Org related phenomena, events, idiosyncrasies, etc.

Get it?

Here's a few examples of Org Sniglets! :

Phorumphobia --n. Refusal to enter the forums for fear you will never leave.

symbofula -- n. the condition whereby you begin to use emoticons in your real life in place of facial expressions.

Crorg -- n. The state of mind you enter when the org crashes.

sybulation v. the act of simulating another Orger for the purposes of lame ass jokes.

Doork -- n. someone who circulates pictures of someone else’s ass.

Eracist -- v. the process of deleting the account of a racist poster. ( @ jnoel )

Orghanistan -- n. familiar name for the Politics and Religion Forum.

Threaditation the act of bringing back a cool thread before it sinks to the second page and on into oblivion.

You need to check out the book by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd called 'The Meaning Of Liff'. It was published back in the mid-eighties and is pretty much the same idea, however they use obscure place-names as the words.

That's funny. But I've already heard of another made up definition for the word "sniglet." Some of my relatives are hardcore salmon fishers, and they always call the extra pieces of fish that fall off (the fatty parts, and just crumbs basically) when you cook it, "sniglets." Like, "Save the sniglets because I want to make salmon chowder with them tomorrow."

Just in case anyone wanted to know. What a dumb post.
