My uncle is retarded (since his IQ is 83 or 84). You can't tell when talking to him. He just seems somewhat simple and he states the obvious a lot. In the past, my friends who have met him asked me what was wrong with him. I said he was retarded and they laughed. People don't realize it's a legitimate word. He really does have mild mental retardation (Kleinfelter's Syndrome).
