It's said that since last night. It will now be refreshing at much longer intervals, I googled this

"this is a known issue. At around 300 views YouTube pauses the view count to verify unique views vs. repeat views. Once unique views catch up to the repeat views, your count will start going up again. This actually makes for more accurate counts, especially when considering contest outcomes."

I need fresh people to view it!!! you guys watching it repeat can take a breather now

it will not count any new views until they have caught up with all the repeat views

I've really shot myself in the foot by asking people to watch it repeatedly (I didn't know!!! )

and I'm not sure how it works, for example:

if there have been 1000 repeat views, will the counter click over to 328 if we get 1001 new views?

How does it work?

I had the auto-refresher going the other day, right before our net got cut. If not it would've had about a gazillion repeat views by now. Still though, it was probably already hundreds of times it refreshed before that.
