So... we narrowly escaped a Wonder Woman reboot, but not completely without some glimpse at the catastrophe that could have been.

Hell, they didn't even show a glimpse of what her powers were cabable of other than pushing that fence. Hell, I wanted to see some high jumping, picking up men and throwing them across the room, picking up the back end of a car while the wheels spin, and deflecting bullets with her bracelets. Plus, that actress looked horrible. She walked more like a robot rather than a human.

Yeah, the clip left a lot to be desired. I'm thinking -- and not-so-secretly hoping -- that more of the pilot will leak. I thought the reboot was a horrible idea, but since the pilot's rejection, I've really wanted to see it, in fact.

that looked cheap....and i would have loved it!

I know somebody who's seen the entire thing, so I imagine it will only be a matter of time before the whole thing gets leaked.

Thing is, I actually feel bad for Adrianne Palicki. I think she was poorly cast, but she seems a nice enough person, and she apparently was really enjoying the prospects of being the new Wonder Woman. I hope she doesn't take all this personally on some level.

it was a high profile failure, I guess, but I think a lot of actors film pilots that never see airtime

It's definitely not her fault that everything about this show was batshit-crazy bad. I don't think people will hold it against her. Everyone will probably forget all about it by the time fall rolls around.

Eventually, someone's Wonder Woman project will make it to production and release. Makes me wonder how those involved with failed attempts will view that effort. Goes with the work, I suppose.

I'm lost here I thought that a Wonder Woman film was in the works...is this a cancelled TV series or what? and why was it cancelled... will there be a film or not?

the leak looks cheap, but then again, we're talking about a TV series (always "cheap") and the lady who plays WW is eye candy... why this bad rapport???

There's been talk of a film for a while, but I think it's in indefinite limbo right now. Warner Bros. sucks, and DC does too, when it comes to doing their comics properties right.

This was a David E. Kelley-produced pilot that NBC had ordered but then backed out on. It could have then been picked up by a different network, I guess, but I'm sure everybody knew what a train wreck it would be and stayed away.

If I've read correctly, producers still are shopping the pilot around. But I agree at this point the whole project is probably seen as a hot potato.
