Nope....well, not to me anyway.

Can't stand matchy matchy anything. It's like matching your shoes with your purse....which is not very fresh or modern looking. It's dated.

I'm wearing a very light sheer pink on my fingernails and a dark bright pink on my toenails at the moment.

I'll tell you one thing I just can't get into though....any blue, or green or yellow polishes. Same with french tips. I find it a tacky look.

johnart says your nails should only be green if you're found floating in a pond. lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Me too. Mine is a really vivid cobalt blue that may look intimidating to some just by looking at the bottle but it works so well against my skin tone....I always get complimented on it on a daily basis..so I have not worn another color in months. I don't typically wear conventional colors anyway.

no, not at all.

its nice to coordinate the colors though; say a dark pink with a light pink.

Mine rarely match, but they do at the moment lol They're a deep purplish red. I usually have my toenails painted black or red and then some other color on my fingernails.

Same here. I think they look stupid. And I just don't understand the black polish. I would never, ever put that mess on my nails. I usually don't do fingernail polish because my nails are so fucked up, brittle and ridgy, and I constantly have them in dirt because I love to garden.

Yeah, I don;t think it's a colour that everyone would get away with. I only started wearing it since I dyed my hair darker. I wouldn't have been able to get away with it before.

hmmm...

In general, I'd say yes unless one is painted and the other is bare. (I don't wear polish on my fingernails but usually paint my toesies if they are going to be seen.)

But I'm sure there are exceptions. If you think it looks OK, it probably does.

yeahthat

No.
