Pretty terrible if you ask me. If Nintendo were to up their game, they would put out decent graphics....Seems no different that the Wii, other than a portable device.

DAYUMM!! Pretty schweet! As much as I feel that the 360 has much better games and that the Wii is for kids, Nintendo has consistently raised the bar for gaming. I'd be very interested to see the games intended for the U next year.

The games they showed were pretty impressive. Zelda, Tekken, Assassin' Creed, Batman Arkham City, Driver, Dirt, and a couple more were really cool

They finally showed the trailer for "Super Mario 3D" for the 3DS and now I'm thinking of getting one lol If Kingdom Hearts 3D looks to be as good as Re:coded, I'll definitely have to get $250 and buy a 3DS

I've been hoping for a console that has tons of shovelware AND requires you to hold a tablet to play it.

Congrats Nintendo!

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I love Nintendo and will buy the console on the day of its release. I'm a Nintendo fan since the early 80ies when those game'n'watch games got on the market. I also play on all the other platforms, but Nintendo games are unbeatable in quality. It's so much fun.

Right, which is suprising. I read last month that this new Nintendo system was supposed to have better resolution/graphics than both the 360 and the PS3, but these premiere videos don't demonstrate or describe any improved video quality.

That tablet controller is pretty neat though.

wow such ignorant replies in this thread!

the new console has been reported by various devs to have better graphical power than the ps3/360

also see bboy's post for demo reels of games.

its not just another wii with a tablet.

im glad nintendo always mixes things up, with SEGA out of the game, we cant have Microsoft and Sony in charge of FUN now can we. i know i dont want that future. neutral

I love my Wii, and I loved my original Xbox before it died... but neither of them hold a candle compared to how much I loved my Dreamcast and Mega Drive/Genesis before them.

Sega need to come back and start making hardware again. And while they're at it, make Shenmue 3 as a launch title. I would pre-order that shit in the first second!!! lol

It makes you realize that Sega was ahead of the game with their systems nod The Dreamcast was a stronger system than PS2 imo

If this new Sega console you dream about has the same mediocre quality as most games Sega puts out in recent years, then it will suck.

If you like Shenmue 1 & 2 you should check out the "Yakuza" series. It's the inofficial sequel to Shenmue.

You can say that about most game publishers if you look at all their releases. Sega have had some awesome releases in the last few years and they've had some terrible ones too. Like most companies.

And I don't want an unofficial sequel, I want a sequel. I want Ryo Hazuki to get out of that fucking cave in China and kick Lan Di's ass.

The new console is 1080p HD. They did a seperate presentation showing some of the games that will be available for it and the look nothing like Wii games. Doubtful developers will be creating games that fully integrate all of the new consoles features until well into 2013, though, because Nintendo will still be selling Wii consoles and new games for the 60 million of them they've already sold in 2012.

Cerebus is most excited by this news.
