I'm not certain who flagged my fundraiser and claimed it was a "fraud," and not positive it was someone from here. We have reason to believe it was, but what I want to stress most of all is the extreme generosity, support and huge tidal wave of love that I have experienced from prince.org friends and family.

Even before I ever considered raising a penny, before I ever thought I'd be in a wheelchair at all, the prince.org community has supported me in ways I could never repay.

I am so, so thankful.

This minor issue will be cleared up soon and the page will be back up tomorrow. I love you guys!

Let me be clear, we don't know who it was or from where. What we DO KNOW is that two separate calls were actually placed to GiveForward.com to inform them that Erin DiViccaro's request for money for a wheelchair due to her illness was FRAUDELENT. So, because they need to verify this, it is suspended until they do. I had to scan and send medical records to them, also.

Before I continue further, let me state clearly that this is not fraudulent and my wife’s disease is real. 100% of the funds provided by OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ONLY (as they are the only people we have asked to donate) will be used to purchase a used power wheelchair. Proof of that can be provided after we make our purchase, which will be very soon after the funds are released to us.

Per our conversation, I am attaching a PDF with these following pages:

1 – This is the original diagnosis from XXXXXXX, MD at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, MA. It is dated September 29^th, 1998. Because Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is caused by a genetic mutation in certain enzymes and fibrous proteins in the body, the only way to be given a true diagnosis is by performing collagen typing and gene mutation testing through DNA sequencing. This is why the genetics department handles it. As you can see, she was diagnosed with EDS Type III. This is a hereditary disease for which there is NO CURE.

2 – Progress notes from our Primary Care Physician (PCP), XXXXXX, MD at Oak View Family Care in Trinity, FL. Dr. XXXX is our family physician. Dr. XXXX is familiar with Erin’s disease and treating it as much as our PCP needs to. Erin also has a pain management doctor she sees less frequently, but is just as important. Occupational and physical therapy are recommended, but too expensive for us to see on a regular basis.

3 – An excerpt from the National Center of Biotechnology Information’s page for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility Type. In the summary, under management, you can clearly see a recommendation for wheelchair assistance. This is just one of many recommendations we can provide to substantiate Erin’s need for this. A quick google search of “Ehlers Danlos Syndrome wheelchair” can provide even more proof if you wish to see for yourself.

In summary, these scans should provide you with:

1 – proof that Erin DiViccaro has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type III Hypermobility

2 – proof that XXXXX, MD acknowledges and agrees with this diagnosis

3 – proof that this condition warrants the need for wheelchair assistance

Should you need anything else, please let us know. We would like to move past this quickly and get back to celebrating the generosity and compassion of our personal group of family and friends, all of which are very sad to hear what is presently going on because of some misguided and misinformed individuals that have never taken the time to ask us about their doubts.

Erin was very worried about this herself. I don't see how they can pull it, especially after we provide them with what they ask for to validate it.

If they do for some reason, everyone's donations will be credited back to you and I guess we'll use the paypal way.
