My situation was not the same, because he mostly shaved for me I guess because he thought I would prefer it that way. The only way he fucked up was that he did not ask me before he shaved.

Well if you can explain how I'm contradicting myself I'll be happy to answer one way or the other, but I don't think so as I read it right now. And yes, it was.
