I think the judge wanted to cry when she first heard that he lived by himself from the age of 5. cry When she heard him sing, then she couldn't hold back the tears after that.

I want to make love to the judge in the middle. First I want to make love without sex, and then sex without love. I imagine that both could be quite pleasing with her. She has some kind of natural cuteness, but also some mysterious, erotic aura.

I felt the same way, got chicken skin a little. I think he was singing in Italian... Nella Fantasia was the song they displayed on the screen cap.

i can't recall the name of the song or what movie it's from, but i'm 99% certain that was from an ennio morricone soundtrack.

Thanks for the lead, I was able to find this on youtube and the comments:

"Gabriel's Oboe" from one of the greatest film scores written 'The Mission'. The sublime 'Gabriel's Oboe' is the most famous part of the score. Scored for solo oboe with string backing, it is quite simply breathtaking. What is astonishing is that Morricone created the theme by writing the music in time with how Jeremy Irons pretended to play on camera

Sarah Brightman (although I think that's her singing in the first video too):

I'm sorry, but is this a joke?

He spends 80% of his time off key.

wow are you like some singing virtuoso? or just completely COLD?

He sings a million times better than I ever could, but his story and perseverance is what made his performance so completely awesome!

Yeah, his singing is alright, but nothing near exciting or near something you could call "the voice of a singer".

Both don't have a brilliant voice, but the Korean guy really was completely off-key at times.

But, yeah, shows like these are not about musicality or hardly ever about real talent. It's the story that makes people cry and feel all emotional and what sells, in the end. Not his voice. I had to experience that first hand.

Sure. But the charts are not about real talent either.

We've got 'Thailand's Got Talent' now. Only problem is, Thailand has the show, but no talent. falloff

Ok, ok, not on the show anyway. The problem over here is the whole thing about losing face. On any show like these the judges are loathe to say anything even remotely critical. Same on Academy Fantasia, Thailand's American Idol type show. Shit, they canceled Weakest Link over here soon after it started because so many people complained about the host (who was far more tame than Anne Robinson) being mean. lol

On the singing talent shows the singers are, very often, dreadful. Not US or UK level not so good, but utterly terrible. Especially when singing English songs. Fans cheer manically and hold up signs for their favourites and I can't quite decide whether for the most part they know the singers are poor and don't care, or they really aren't aware just how bad they are. Sometimes I think it's the former reason, as you can get told quite frequently in Thailand if you criticise something like that to not be so serious, or it's just for fun etc., but I have a sneaking suspicion, especially when it comes to English songs, that people just don't realise how poor the singers are. By comparison American Idol is incredible, and singers on Britain's Got Talent are pretty bloody good too.

Thankfully there are Thai singers like this talented cat cool

MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

shrug didn't sound off key to me...but I have no background in vocals.. but clearly the man has natural talent, whith some lessons and coaching I'm sure he'd improve. I don't think it's just the emotional story that sells, it's a bit of both talent and story...don't you think?

His voice is fine, he's just not hitting the notes. Not sure how that can make someone completely "cold".
