Transgender folks for some odd reason have been considered "freak shows" but I don't get that notion at all. Hell Buck Angel is a turn on as is Beckie, what her last name is lol (some cute transgender woman with a big dick, forgot her name).

Yeah his partner is female. Although most of the pRon I've seen him in he's with gay men. Which is kind of interesting in its own right.

Maybe I am ignorant, but I always considered the mentalities of people who want to change their bodies to feel "normal" sorta flies in the face of people who do what comes natural to them despite how they were born. I feel most change their bodies to fit into some norm of society at large. shrug This sentiment goes way beyong people who are gay. Plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons bothers me greatly.

I will never understand any transgendered person because I feel that people who change their bodies do so because they can not accept themselves the way they were born for various reasons. This is why the one guy I knew that wanted a sex change tried to hurt himself several times. He never had his surgery, I feel he hates being a gay man. But I like him just the way he is, sorta wished he did too. sad I think every person should love themselves for who they are and what feelings they have... why change yourself like that? Wear what you want and tell people to kiss your entire asshole!

Would I date a person who is transgendered? No, because if you can not accept your real self how could you accept me? My personal and honest opinion.

not criticizng you/your opinion or anything, but, what would you say about someone born intersexed (a hermaphrodite) and wanted surgery to "choose" a gender? I'm thinking it's kind of the same thing for ppl who are trans--they just don't have 2 sets of sex organs...

maybe someone [physically] born one gender and wanting/needing to have the surgery is the only thing that will allow them to be their real self... shrug

~ IMHO, who you are is internal [for lack of a better word: mental]; not what parts happened to form in utero.

there was a brain study done a few yrs ago in Europe. in the human brain, one side is slightly larger than the other half. I think it was that in [straight] men, it's the right side that's bigger, and in [straight] women, the left..

The study found that gay male brains had the same proportions as straight women, and lesbians had the same brain size/structure as straight men.

to me, it's further proof that ppl are born gay, and [possibly that] gender identification goes far deeper than just physical equipment.... smile

People were born human beings and however they are that's who they become. People try to make it their business to think they know WHAT gender and WHAT orientation someone SHOULD be and forget about how the person REALLY feels because they put their own personal opinion about it. And if someone is judging you like that, then you might need to rely on yourself. Some people feel they are either man or woman or are happy to be a mixture of both.

I don't accept that as the same thing at all... two different scenarios.

But to answer the hermaphadite question, yes... if my man was born with a pussy and a dick I would say, KEEP IT. Be the way you were born, no amount of slicing and dicing will change you biologically.

You don't have to cut off your dick for me to accept you as a lady or vice versa. I would sooner love a man with a pussy than love a man with a fake dick. Hell no, get that shit away from me.

Its a fucking shame people have to go through those exptremes to feel more accepted. But that's just my opinion. If I had a friend that wanted to change their sex, I would advise against it.Wear what you want, act the way you want... no surgery needed. Who cares if people like it or not... why go under the knife?

I believe people change their sex to fit into gender roles set up by society. That's my belief, no one needs to agree with me.

Wow some extreme approaches to the subject so far.

So be it that you come home with someone whom indeed have gone through the process fully, and told you later that they used to be another gender; would you run away?

Yes

i am gay but like prince let woman be a woman and man be a man i dont believe in sex changes and all that jazz. i am a man and i dont like girly type men if i want girly id be with a real girl.i think people overdoing it these days with all this liberated stuff just going 2 the extremes

Especially when they have the operations and then regret it and want to change back. Seems to me more emphasis needs to be on addressing the mental issue rather than surgically changing the body. I saw a special on transexuals (there have been quite a few) but the one I saw either aired on PBS or Lifetime (can't remember). Anyway, this guy changed himself like 3 times. He finally settled on being a man but he had non-functioning genitals or something; basically only a hole to let the urine out. He claimed he hadn't received the right kind of psychiatric treatment and that doctors were too quick to grant him the surgery and hormones. They had a woman who transitioned to a man and she too regretted it but only because she later wanted to experience pregancy but had her reproductive organs removed. It was just terribly sad as both people seemed to be living rather reclusive lives.

Yah, don't cut your damn dick off!!

I am strange and I will admit it.

I have never been attracted to girlie lipstick lesbians at all but I have met a few bull daggers who can turn my head. I also have admited here before that Prince is not the only effeminate man that has caught my attention. I like androgenous types it seems and I think if we just accepted them as they are maybe they would not feel that they had a "problem" that needed surgical correction.

What I am trying to say is that being an effiminate man or a butch female is only a "problem" because society makes it one.

I totally agree with you, but last night I heard a pedophile on tv saying that sex with children was taboo only because society made it so confused
