Disney's big gay dragon
I remember watching this cartoon with my brother when I was a kid, not realizing of course how faggy he was LOL. Now we laugh at it. For a disney cartoon, I always found it surprisenly daft as Disney 'toons tend to be pretty soft and tame when compared to Warner cartoons for example. Now I appreciate it for the camp as hell dragon.
For 1941, the character was pretty bold LOL

He was a good role model to me and my brother as a kid LOL.
As I said, it's actually quite a funny cartoon for Disney. And considering how old the cartoon is, I wonder if you can credit the dragon as one of the first openly gay characters ever to grace the silver screen? LOL [Edited 6/9/11 17:23pm] | |
