the Blood Line is for US and Canada

What about international phone numbers?
Sorry, Blood Line only works in the US, Canada, and Hawaii. Participants outside North America and Hawaii can visit the Cast Calls tab each week to hear a new cast message identical to the one sent out by phone. If you are interested in seeing future campaigns with call features outside North America and Hawaii, please E-mail support.trueblood@varitalk.com.
damn!! mad lol they called and I clicked 'ignore' on my cell phone b/c I didn't recognize the area code (985) doh!
but I guess it's ok since they're gonna post them each week on Facebook for everybody to hear
* it leaves a voicemail, but the beginning is cut off.. I think it was Anna Paquin (Sookie)

one could say that going from losing someone u loved violently and then being kidnapped and held hostage was too much 2 handle emotionally but hopefully with season 4 a rougher side of tara will emerge

and russell edginton was great!! "we will eat u after we have eaten your children! and now for the weather ..tiffany!!"

Russell was a great character biggrin

'

He was funny and a good villain!!, the other beef i had with season 3 is there was so many characters and i felt some didn't do much..... so i'm hoping season 4 everyone plays an active part!=]

well get ready 4 even more characters this season hehehe

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

did y'all notice-- they kept calling her 'Toni'... I wonder how that came about (esp. since this Tara is so completely different than the one in the books [and she does not leave Bon Temps])

I watched the second episode on HBOGo.com -- I liked it better

but they still have a lot of flashbacks to do to cover that yr

and all o' that isht in Faerie did *not* happen in the books, not even remotely close lol ... I wonder what Ball has in store... hmm

i have only read the 1st 3 books and slowly as weeks go on i'll read a chapter a week from book 4 just so i don't jump 2 far ahead of what is going on and what isn't going on. from the books compared 2 the show, i'm so glad that AB isn't following it verbatim like i see some book fans would like. it's give a new perspective and some characters in the book aren't as fleshed out as the show.

but i watched that episode 3 times last night just 2 see if i miss things on the first go round and the second time i watched it i noticed that Mab's elf ears poked out before everything was revealed. I think this isn't the last we heard from the faries tho.

the stark truth tho about the books vs the tv show is these actors age and if the books are up to number 11 i belive, then none of the actors no matter how much make up they put on can substain what's going on in the books. so i can understand how AB is combining things from the books and who knows what CH is giving them what will happen with characters from the books.

I loved the beginning! Things are not as they seem...the whole running from the Fairies and Fairy battle totally reminded me of the original Star Trek series, which I love. Crazy!

See that mess works for you as a Star Trek fan (I am a moderate NG fan myself) but they better not start trying to turn True Blood into some science fiction cable tv show. They could have done better than that. My friend next to me kept sayin ..."im NOT feeling this!"

I doubt the entire show will go that way. The rest of the show didn't have that feel to it.

Yeah the first one.

The sets of fairy world were awful, like a set from Xena but not cheesy in a kitschy way, which set the mood for me off the bat. The whole Tara has gone off to be a fighting lesbian under an assumed name(hot a lesbian as she does make drool) was just so WTF-ish, that parrot coming back to life looked so dumb and cheap...I could go on...I just wasn't feeling most of it so I was very disappointed.

About the only thing I think I liked was the shifter's support group. shrug

Shawn said episode 2 gets better so I'm crossing everything. pray

if u look at tara's character arc it does make sense that she's a fighter, how many times has she knocked someone out? lol at the end of last season she said that she wished that she can have a new life and reboot herself, so the whole toni/tara thing is her way of "rebooting"

I love that now she's keeping her aggressive side in the ring. When that perv was bothering Tara and her girlfriend she could've went off on him, as she would've in the past. This time she took his $20 and left quietly. Loved that!

right it's like she's taking her rage and directing it in another chanel which is good and shows signs of maturity but damn i love when tara goes off and says something 2 curse people out in her own way lol

I finally saw the new 2 episodes last night (I'm confused - is the 2nd episode of the new season from last Sunday or this coming Sunday? Why would it be on HBO on-demand is it hasn't aired?).

I don't like what they did with the fae. Not at all as it was in the books and in fact it makes me think they're mixing it up with the Harry Dresden storyline (the name of that fairy "queen" is Maab, right? Just like in the Harry Dresden books - NOT the Sookie Stackhouse stories!!!).

Also - what's with Tara becoming a lesbian cage fighter? Can't they just kill her character already?

And what about the whole "evil baby" nonsense? disbelief
