i think we all have a need to feel wanted and appreciated. We worry how others perceive us.

I would agree w/ that. I think 60% of the misunderstandings I have on the org would probably not even come up in person. Some people just don't get or don't enjoy anything but overly-friendly/saccharine dialogue and I am not one to mince words.... lol.

Some of the self-perceptions in this thread have been so surprising.

For instance, I never would have expected formally pickles to think she isn't liked. I also wouldn't have described Zombie Kitten as a "prude". Far from it! I think Spinlight tries to present himself as too cool for all of us, but none of us are fooled. We all know he is a sweet guy. As far as Suprman goes, I am surprised that he think orgers don't like him. I have found him to be honest and pleasant. But I also appreciate his research.

I know I've not mentioned some people in this thread, but I have gone on too long!

So what about me? I haven't been here very long so I probably haven't made an impression on too many people. I think some people find me dull.

Yeah - that is kind of how I imagine you. I would also say that you seem to be very open about discussing emotional things. That's a great quality. I think the whining and bitterness will fade away.

I didn't ever think you were a girl! You are maybe the only guy on the org that I imagined right off the bat as being straight and was actually right about it! (Maybe the bitter ex stories and kid pictures help confirm it.)

Actually...all of my life, I've been completely closed. Allowed no one in.
