Sorry but I was never a fan of animation until 3D stArted suspending my disbelief for reals. Irish accent? You do realize that it's the same actor I couldn't understand in In Bruges that is the abbot in this movie? mad

A graphic designer not into animation--I suppose I've heard of stranger things. lol I'm the opposite, I find 2D animated films like The Secret Of Kells, Persepolis and The Illusionist to be much cooler than any of the 3D Pixar stuff.

Is your problem with just Brendan Gleeson or the other Irish actors as well?

Mainly him, although I admit he did talk more clearly in this one nod

I'm not really into movies or so......

But, I adore Planet Earth(Blu Ray) with David Attenborough.

Just got finished comparing Star Trek III (Leonard Nimoy) to Star Trek V (William Shatner) Nimoy wins hands down imo. rating them against each other 4 to 2.

Cool! Looks like something I'd like. I'm going to look it up. Been downloading films from Let Me Watch This and having movie nights. smile

So far we've seen 'Four Lions' and the latest Shrek. Both pretty good. 'Four Lions', as a jihadist comedy, is definitely worth a look.

Many of the docs I've seen cover serious topics like war or some natural or political disaster--all subjects worth examining of course--so it's nice to see one like this every once in awhile that isn't so heavy.

Bridesmaids gets 4 stars from me. I didn't even want to see it because I thought the previews looked stupid but my friend talked me into it. Really funny. I friend of my husband's (male) walked out on it though so maybe it's more of a chick flick.

Pretty meh. Not hilarious, but not awful. I was surprised to learn Ron Howard directed this totally average piece of product.

I ended up seeing this with my best girlfriends and my boyfriend...All the chicks were dying laughing and he barely grinned, so yeah I'm thinking it's mostly girl humor lol

I'm not one for goreporn to be honest, there ARE things I liked about the movie, like the premise (not original, but I've not seen REC) and the story, the beginning for example, but I am not into death and fear and suffering as a genre of entertainment - I won't even watch crime shows on telly!! lol

The end was when I started watching again (after being so bored I was checking facebook on my phone for a good chunk of it) was that a rabid baby? eyepop falloff at that last scene I shouted "THE END!" at the TV and was sooooooo relieved when the credits rolled, I'd reached the point where I could watch no more, thankfully the film-makers agreed whew
