Guess what? I just did a recon at the pond. Although the second frog was silent last night, I didn't find his carcass. So I went looking this morning.

I found him hiding in a crevasse. Not sure if he was still alive, but I am sure now!

I hope this is the end of it!

'fess up. what happened to poor little froggie? he who was hiding in that crevasse just so he could eat the mosquitoes and biting flies that make your life unhappy, wherefore art he now?????

Dear Mr. R. Schro:

We here at the ORG feel your pain, and empathize with your sleepless nights. A man;s home is his castle, and a man's pond is his, well, pond. Therefore, we have pooled our contributory funds and built you this soundproof shed around your pond, to prevent the horrrible noise problem from ever again disturbing your slumber.

As you can see by its sturdy deisgn, this little baby will not only prevent frogs from accessing the pond in question, even if they do happen to make it into the pond, no sound they emit will ever be audible to your ears. Let us hope this will make an end to the bloodshed. Let us pray for peace between species. Lay down the pooper scooper and let not your opposable thumbs bring such violence into the world again.

Carrie's right - we built it. The frogs came in the second or third year, I think. So we were here first!

He's now eating all the mosquitoes he wants. At least, I assume that's what happens in Froggie Heaven.

I like that shed!

I know. And as you might remember, I tried EVERYTHING to peacefully get the frogs to move along.

Frogicide was a last resort.

Your killing the guys that are singing in order to impress the ladies. The frog just wanted to attrack a girl and get some action.......

What?

Well, then that's just baiting them. neutral

We built 2 ponds at our first home. I remember the whole frog-invasion thing. There were times when you'd walk through the grass and the grass would shift (baby frogs) . ill

This whole "rage against the frogs" does sound unfair to me.

Ponds are the natural habitat for frogs, and by nature they start to sing as loud as they can. They are convinced they have to, in order to impress the girls. These guys don't know that relationships are only succeed for frogs with a caring, loving, fun and generous supporting nature.

Male frogs are convinced it's all about the noise they make, they assume, the louder I shout about my capacities, the more females will believe me, so I end up with a harem.

They can't help themselves; they are males. They, by definition, don't have a sensitive 'read social signs and behavior' radar. A male frog doesn't care about the effect of his own behaviour on their environment. It's all about his needs, life evolves around the male frog shrug

So, this poor frog comes to your pond. Assuming you build it especially for him. Hey starts bloating about himself to attract some girls to the pond.

And then you shoot him.

Now that I think about it. Will you come to the Netherlands soon? With your shutgun? Because I actually know about this Dutch frog, that deserves a good blow on his head. I'll help you hunting him down.......

You won me over. Let's kill all these bastards!!!!!!!!

The war on frogs is on

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.
