wasn't mothers day like April 3rd..?

so here's to the mommies...

i always hoped to do all the big things for my kids that my mommy did for me, because she did them all.THESE ARE TH GREAT THINGS MY MOM DID FOR ME!!!she would blow a speck of dust from my eye.she would kiss the hurt away. she would lick her thumband clean my face with it. when it was cold out, she wouldstick me under her coat against the wind and snow.she would tell me lies to keep me happy, like tellin me she would never die. she would always be there.there were so many more things that were bigger than even these.yet these are the little things that i would do for mine and know thatthey are just lil things 'til one remembers how it really felt to have them done for you, or how it feels to knowthat they won't be gettin done for you again, for many many years.to the mothers HAPPY MOTHERS DAYto the kids look at the llil things you doand know that one day they may be looked on as GREAT THINGS to those you do them for.

I bought my mom flowers a week prior to Mother's day...then she and I left for the weekend for the beach. We came home yesterday rocking out to ABBA...
