Getting on the plane Friday to Washington D.C. to meet up with a friend and fellow photographer to hang out a little and get some air. I've had quite enough of Chicago lately. Haven't been feeling appreciated. Need a change of scene. Hopefully I will have time to hang out with JohnArt found out a ex of mine from college also lives in D.C. too. He wants to hang out but I don't think so plan to hit Newyork in June sometime, then there's Atlanta, Georgia...

My friend and I decided we wanted to go somewhere people don't tend to go to often.

While we were on the Emirates website it popped up and the flights were quite reasonable so we went for it.

Since we booked up I have spoke to loads of people I know who have been and said it was their best holiday ever.

We're backpacking round the island too which is going to be great we'll see loads.

Oktoberfest is amazing..this is our second year.

Not ruined at all. that's just the right side (and shortest side) of the balcony. Besides the construction workers whistle at me when I go on the balcony. My apartment actually has great views on 3 out 4 sides. The bedrooms face the mountains. So I'm good.
