Is that a Burmese?? He is the cutest dog you could imagine isn't he . I have no idea. It's not my dog, I wish it was . He and I just fell in love at first sight on a hike and he was following me for hours and even tried to jump in our car when we left to come with me . Sadly he probably belonged to some farm overthere and thus I could not take him with me even though it was tempting . I wish I would not fall in love at first sight, no matter if it's a man or a dog . On this one here you can see better how big he was: With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! Thanks.
Full disclosure: I took that pic right after finishing the dress (after having sewn for hours). When it makes its real debut, there will be some lipstick involved. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I'd say it's a bernese mountain dog too. I remember falling in love with that breed when I was little. A friend of ours had them and I remember the puppies were sooo cute. I dreamed about having one for years. Nowadays I would never ever keep a dog in the house, especially that big, but back when I was 8 I didn't really think about that, but just desperately wanted to have one [Edited 4/26/11 10:21am]

The dog I used to have was nowhere that big, but sure not small and he was really happy living in an apartment, so IMO a big dog and an apartment sure can work. But that breed probably would not be a good idea . With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! Well, yeah, perhaps it can work, but I just think it's more natural not keeping them in an apartment. What breed was it?

He was as happy in the apartment as he was in our house with the garden when we were there. I guess it depends on the individual dog. My bf's dogs would never be happy in an apartment and they are a lot smaller than my dog was. He was mixed. Probably between a German shepherd and a Keeshond, but we never knew for sure as we got him from a shelter. He was nearly as big as a German shepherd, but with longer hair and when he was little everybody thought it was a fox and not a dog .
