Could you recommend some places I MUST visit in Thailand? My parents have visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia a few years ago and I've been wanting to visit SE asian countries for years If I work real hard in May and June I may be able to do some traveling in July haha

Actually, there are still a few major places we've never been to in Thailand too. Like Chiang Mai.

So where to visit? Bkk obviously, not that it can really even be avoided. I think Ayuthaya's worth a look. One or two islands down south - depends who you ask as to where's the best. Maybe Kanchanaburi for the WWII history. Chiang Mai and/or Chiang Rai is, despite us not having gone, probably considered a must. A place near there called Pai is supposed to be very cool.

I want to go to Sukothai, which was the capital of Thailand prior to Ayuthaya.
