I love my art collection and thoroughly enjoy being surrounded by the creative expression of artists whom I admire and respect. Each piece is like one of my babies and I HATE to pick a favorite, but gatdamn if I don't love gazing up from my kitchen when I'm doing dishes and looking at this. I love that every time I examine it, I see something new. Always makes me smile yet mourn the loss of two great talents. Steve Kaufman really put his foot in this one.

i'm 56. i qwit smokin the day after x-mass

i started havin issues last month.

i started smokin regularly when i was 7

all i have are breathin issues. i smile

i have overcome a lot of things

i have outlasted a lot of folks in this life.

i have faught many fights and have no

more battles in life. so i continue to smile.

many people ask me why i continue to smile

in the face of all these adversities and i say

"i use to just watch things spin, 'til they stopped.

people would qwestion my wisdom in that.

i have seen the lil mouse on the basement floor

in the HUMAINE TRAP strugle for dear life

and i wached 'til it was no more.

now i know the meanin of my life.

King or Mouse, we all end" i smile...

Good for you. That's what you're supposed to do...smile in the face of adversity, because it pisses some people off when their misery and hate can't destroy your soul. Glad you made it through the tough times.

What makes me smile is the love that shines into my life from family and friends, and the blessings that always comes with it, no matter what comes my way.

This makes me smile, 'cause a) "Mrs. Kathy" makes me laugh and b) it reminds me that we take most things in life way too seriously. I love irreverence!
