Now THIS is What I Call Wonder Woman!

I like this updated costume. Let's be honest, the bathing suit looks goofy on the screen.

I hope they make WW totally badass and don't tone her down. In the DC Universe, she's second only to Supes in power.

First Look at Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman!

lol I dunno why, but I'm getting such a porn star vibe from her in that outfit. Like, at any second, she's gonna get on her knees and start giving some guy the business.

Yeah, after everyone and their mother recieved power upgrades . . . .

But she can't fly.

I don't really follow the comics anymore, so I don't know what's going on there. It tripped me out that she could fly on the Justice League series. I was glad that got rid of that ridiculous invisible plane though! Look, it's a woman squatting at 3 thousand feet! lol

Artist Jim Lee redesigned her costume in 2010. I take it that you don't read the monthly comic book?

I usually don't like it when they alter things but I must admit, I like this one. They kept the original colors of her costume and it's features such as the magic lasso and the bullet proof bracelets and they also kept the original design of the costume such as the eagle on her chest. They basically just altered the cut of the costume, got rid of the bathing suit which did look kind of strange with the high heel boots, and put her in some skin tight long pants. This one, I like, because it reminds me of the "Wonder Woman" series with Lynda Carter when she had various versions of her costume such as the scuba diving costume and the motorcycle costume.

I like the costume but I still bet they are going to fuck the new Wonder Woman up. I know how they like to ruin things these days by making them seem so "realistic" and "believable" such as not giving her extreme superhero strength and having her fight like damn Bruce Lee with all that damn kicking and Karate shit. They need to stick to the Lynda Carter series "Woman Woman" as close as possible such as having her being able to throw men across the room, pick up the back end of a car, jump way up high on top of a building or over some trees, etc. And don't give her no new powers such as being able to fly because she's not Superman, she's Wonder Woman and each superhero has their own unique powers that apply to them. In other words, don't fuck up the memory of the Lynda Carter series because Lynda Carter was and will always be Wonder Woman.

The 1970s Lynda Carter television series was wonderful. Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman and Lindsay Wagner as The Bionic Woman should always be how future versions of the shows should be based. worship

Since Wonder Woman never ages or gets old, a new actress would have to be cast to play her in a new series because Lynda Carter has indeed aged and doesn't look as young as she used to. However, when they remade "The Bionic Woman" in the 2000s, they royally fucked that one up. They put that little young bitch with dark hair of all things to play Jaime Sommers and she looked absolutely nothing like Lindsay Wagner. Wonder Woman may not age but the Bionic Woman does age since she just has machinery in her body so no other actress should play her except for Lindsay Wagner. Just bring Lindsay Wagner back to play an older Bionic Woman. Bringing another actress in that looks nothing like her to replace her is like bringing someone in to replace your mama or sister. It's just not possible. The only way for it to work, is to have a completely different bionic character such as a completely different woman having an accident and getting bionics but don't call her Jaimie Sommers because only Linday Wagner is Jaime Sommers.

One part of me likes this costume ALOT.

The rational part of me is like; disbelief

...I mean, REALLY, you're going to fight crime IN A BUSTIER???

Sure, if your t*t pops out in the middle of a fight you suddenly have an advantage over your distracted & dazed opponent (assuming it's a hetero male)...but come on. There has to be some sort of real-world concessions made when translating a comic-book outfit into the "real" world.

OH...and why are the bracelets now SILVER? confuse

Actually, looking back, the 1970's Wonder Woman series was pretty bad, but it was fun in a campy sort of way, The first season was pretty decent when it was set during World War II, but after ABC canceled the series and it was picked up by CBS and put in the then-present day, it got really cheesy. But Lynda Carter was iconic in that role. sexy love

The remake of the Bionic Woman was supposed to be a re-imagining of the show ala what happened with Battlestar Galactica. But while the remake of Battlestar Galactica from a cheesy disco era sci-fi romp to a 2000's deep morality play with better special effects was a masterpiece, the remake of Bionic Woman was slow, plodding, and overly dark. Plus the remake introduced the first generation of the bionic woman who went rogue and became a murderous killer. Nevertheless, the rogue, evil bionic woman was a more interesting character than the actual star of the show. But in the end, they tried too hard to be like Alias and lost sight of why the original show was fun to watch. sigh disbelief

I just have a feeling that this new Wonder Woman show is going to crash and burn, because the TV networks are getting lazy and just trying to remake old shows instead of using their creativity to come up with something different. It's like the networks have given up trying to create any good network TV shows and are leaving the good stuff to cable.

There's so much source material, why not use it? I thought George Perez' run on WW was very good. They should base the show on those stories.
