I never really had out of body experience, but have been practicing being more in tune with myself for the last 10 years.

One defining moment that I never forgot and felt very happy about was after my mom's best friend was murdered in front of me.

I say, about two days after she died there was a 'visit' to her house...I didnt have any control ove the situation..nor would I have wanted to.

Her huge 'house' rose out of the ground (which was sand) and was covered by a huge velvet red curtain. The white picket fence rose from it suddenly and the curtain slowly fell upon the ground..almost like an animation. The house was completely gold...and very bright..(it almost looked fake). The sky and desert like background was pastel-like and so were the clouds. It was so beautiful it did not seem like it could be real..and really on Earth something like it could not be.

I remember suddenly I was in the empty house; which (wasnt furnished yet) I never asked but I knew already. And inside there she was in curly blonde hair and red glasses. A dungaree jacket and pants holding my little sister smiling...my mom was looking and smiling behind her.....

Then that was it...at the time it seemed like I was there for hours, but now remembering it, seems like it lasted seconds.

Anyone else?

I've always been interested, but also afraid. I figure if God wants me to, it would happen.
