Shit the Sixers were so close again last night but the Heat were just better. The Heat better tighten up for the next round against Boston. Don't laugh at my funk

That Spurs game was sort of sad to watch. Don't get me wrong; Memphis was bringing their best game and deserved to win , but it was sad seeing the Spurs looking very old on the court. They had so many opportunities to drive the open lane when they brought the ball upcourt yet didn't do it, and usually by the time they figured out they could drive the lane, it was too late because they had defenders all in their faces. And the way Zack Randolph just drove in on Tim Duncan and Antonio McDyess reminded me of how Brett Favre played against the Bears in his final game.

Of course the sexiest match-up is Boston-Miami. The Heat's young trio vs. the Celtics old trio. I think Miami's youth will wear Boston down. Heat in seven.

Zach Randolph continues the tradition of players doing better once they leave the Knicks. That cat is playing lights-out basketball.

For real. I'm actually relegated to pulling for Miami and Atlanta. Don't like the Celtics and while i love Derrick Rose's game, i'm not interested in seeing the Bulls win another title in my lifetime. They already spoiled that for me in the 90's. Don't laugh at my funk

Chicago will beat Atlanta, but they won't get past Miami, not if the Heat gets solid bench production.

All that talk about Pierce getting ejected (and it was a BS call) can not over ride the fact that my Celtics got thoroughly outplayed in game 1. Way too many WIDE open threes given up on defense and way too many missed shots when they could have cut the lead to five/six.
I still think Boston has a great chance to win the series, but they're gonna have to play a lot better than what they just did.
Re - Memphis. Where the hell is this all coming from? They are just playing lights out basketball right now and it's real fun to watch.

Joe Johnson may be horribly overpaid, but I don't mind if he plays like this. Totally overshadowing D Rose. Hoping the Hawks can maintain this lead and close it out. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

Nice! Hawks came out playing hard. Close at half-time but we took over again as time went on.
Snatched first one on the road just like against the Magic.

Holy crap! Joe Johnson was taking out the Bulls tonight like the Navy SEALS on Osama Bin Laden. Plus the Bulls were giving away too many easy baskets, but I give credit to the Hawks for being more athletic and moving players around without the ball to get open shots. The Bulls had better get their act together or they'll be bounced out of this series early.

If Miami gets a split in Boston, it's over. Youth will win out in this series.
...and the Lakers should be kicking themselves, giving that game away. [Edited 5/4/11 10:36am]

Now that's the way to play tonight. The Bulls came out a heck of a lot better on defense tonight and shut down Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford. Joakim Noah was crashing the boards, and Luol Deng was giving some quality shots and hustle on the boards. But where the heck is Carlos Boozer? He's practically disappeared from the Bulls since the regular season ended.
