Andrew Bynum seemed like plenty of firepower to me

These guys just simply suffered from getting the best from every team throughout

the season and Dallas just simply had their number in this series and the Zen Master

was finally outcoached in every way this series.

Very disappointing. The game was ours and we really just gave it away. If Pierce up-fakes on that last play he 100% gets fouled. KG and Ray Allen running into each other instead of setting up the right screen was just off the charts inexcusable.

Oh well. We really didn't deserve to win anyway.

Now that the Lakers are out, as long as the Heat don't win, I'll be happy with anyone else winning it all.

Yup, no way should Durant go almost nine minutes without a FG attempt because his PG is gunnin', no matter how good his PG is. Westbrook is really a SG IMO, he has too much of a score first mentality.

When Jordan was gettin beat down by Birds Celtics and Isiah's Pistons, he didn't recruit his good friends Patrick Ewing and Charles Barkley. Why not, cause he wanted to beat them, not join them.

Jermaine O'Neal, or Shawn Marion. The latter 2 didn't work out so well. Bosh, Lebron, and Wade

knew they wanted to play together, it just so happened that they chose Miami. Look at the players

that joined the Lakers over the past few years and the Celtics forming their big three. Those

When Charles joined those Rockets, dude was fat and past his prime (same for the team he was joining Hakem and Drexler.) They were in their mid-30 in like their 13th seasons.

Malone and Payton were also in like their last seasons (Malone his last and GP the next season was in Miami I think.)

The Celtic situation is similar to the Rockets big three, all aging veterans way past their prime, but togethr can still put up a good fight. None of those Celtics were top tem players when the joined together, they had all missed the playoffs the previous season, or hell seasons. In the meantime, Bron's teams had the best records in the league the past two seasons on his way to multiple MVP awards.

I had no problem with Bron leaving, I think he just took the easy way out joining Miami.

Well, while I mostly agree with Little bluecorvette's take on Lebron's decision to go the Heat, I still have to give it up for his performance last night. Absolutely in the zone, and the Celtics for the second straight game just clamped up when it mattered most.

Ultimately, I think the Perkins trade is what did them in this year. And the way Jeff green looked most of the time, it doesn't look like the philosophy behind the trade of helping the team long term is going to kick in either. Time will tell.

Now the only "bad" team left from a personal perspective is the Heat. I really don't want those conniving d-bags to win it all....

Now that my team is out I gotta pull for the Mavs.

The other big difference here is that the Celtics front office traded picks and prospects away to land Ray Allen and Garnett. These weren't dudes talking together behind the scenes about wanting to form a supergroup once their contracts expired.

At the end of the day, if this is what Lebron wanted, so be it. I personally think it taints anything he accomplishes in a major way. But I'm also quite sure he couldn't give two lumps about what I think.....

Well the Lakers and the Spurs have been dominant for a long time. The Celtics were a laughing stock for almost 20 years before the trades 3 years ago, so I don't think they deserve the same categorization as the other two. (And I mean that in a negative way towards Boston).

It's gonna happen anyway... when I read about Dallas whupping L.A. and same with Miami beating Boston, I was like "watch, they're definitely going to be in the Finals, no question!"
