Well you said Paul fell of, he's the same great player he's been the past few seasons. He doesn't have a team around him like Kobe does. When Kobe had bums on his team a few years back, he was in the 7th seed just like Paul and didn't even make the playoffs one season back in 2005.

He did fall off, his shooting percentage, scoring, and dimes are down from last season.

Well, his Hornets didn't make the playoffs last season compared to a spot this season. I don't know if I would call that falling off.

Well, he still fell off, the team may have improved, so it's not all just on Paul that they made the playoffs.

I just checked and remember he missed half the season last season. He also has more help in the backcourt with Jack who is more stable than the you Collison. He is mplaying less minutes from last season and shootin 3 fewer fild goals.

Maaaan, somebody needs to explain the meaning of the words "pass" and "trust" to Carmelo Anthony. Or maybe just show him the play that beat his team tonight where Paul Pierce PASSED to Ray Allen because he TRUSTED him to make the shot. lol

Edit: Shot, not show. confused neutral lol

How they lost the game? I don't know man. I thought they were going to take it. But I do know that Melo had plenty of time to pass the ball to a couple of OPEN teammates, or to at least try driving, before jackin' up that hero shot at the end.

I didn't. lol And although they basically played like crap, that was still a good win for Chicago. All that matters right now is winning and they'll probably have to come from behind a few times if they expect to go very far. So it was good to get one of those under their belt right now.

Agreed. nod The Bulls came out flat while the Paces came out on fire. My Bulls were lucky to pull this game out. They're going to have to play much better if they expect to get to the Eastern Conference finals.

As I stated before the playoffs started. Rose will have a carry this team because in reality, the rest of that roster is NOT very good. Even Boozer has turned in2 a turnover machine. Noah has zero offense, Korver is a liability, and the 2 guard does NOT exist on this team.

Rose carried the team for 46 minutes.............and the rest showed up at the end.

None, really. The Lakers simply lack any true speed at the PG spot, and it's been that way for years now. All the Lakers have to do is feed the big men and it'll take care of itself. Oh, and Pau can't play like a little bitch either, like he likes to do at certain times.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Kobe singled him out and called him out. Dude MUST play like he actually cares if they're going to have a chance at the three peat. Lamar was real honest about the whole team not playing hard enough after the game as well. I expect they'll get it turned around for the next game. But the Hornets already got their one game on the road, which changes everything.

Nah, I don't think Kobe will be higher than Dwight, but I betcha he'll be higher than Paul and Williams. Unless the voters done lost their minds the MVP voting should got Rose, Howard with nobody else even close.

Well of course he'll be higher than a 7th seed player and a player who was no where near the playoffs. MVP voting is about wins more so than who is better.

The Warriors need to high Rick Adelman with a quickness! nod Although he'll probably get offered better jobs. Houston is dumbuh for letting him go, but they announced it as a "mutual" decision, so maybe he wanted out. shrug

Houston wants something totally new. 6 important players gone in less than two seasons.

McGrady = gone

Artest = gone

Landry = gone

Battier = gone

Brooks = gone

Yao = gone

Y'all keep hatin' on the Bulls like a win doesn't count or something. lol I mean come on! They're not DOWN 0-2. They won both of those games and they're up 2-0. It doesn't matter HOW, just that they did it. Most of the best teams in the league won a pretty sizeable number of their games the exact same way this season. In the end a win is a win and that's all that matters.

Plus, they held Indiana to their defensive season average. If they keep doing that they're going to keep winning.

lol OK. Are you a Bulls fan? A fan of basketball? Because there was many (and I mean A LOT) of Bulls games that Jordan won for the Bulls when the rest of the team barely showed up. And in general, this is basketball. Only in the last few years has there been this move towards multiple superstars on one team. At best it used to be two, and one of them was usually still clearly at the top of the pecking order. Besides, it doesn't matter how you win in the end, just that you do.

Anyway, I don't get the predicting doom thing. I want the Bulls to go far, to the finals if possible. So I don't care how they get the wins and I'm certainly not going to root against them.

That said, I based my predictions on the reality of the team, not what I wish it 2 be. The Bulls roster is not that good, and Rose can't win it by himself.

Save the doom & gloom for the Knicks. When you have a chance to knock off the home team(in the playoffs) and fail, it's so deflating. No Chauncey tonight, either.

Well, IMO, its as good as any other roster in the East and better than a few of them. All they lack is a bit of experience, and they've got a couple veteran players and coaches for that. Like I said before, you may be right. But for now I don't see it. All that matters in the playoffs is that you win, not how you do it.
