Forehead's a little low for my taste and the nose is a bit off but she looks damn great in the suit. Looking at those old pics of Linda Carter I can honestly say there has not been a more mesmerizing and sexy darked haired, blue eyed woman since her. Linda's only flaw was her flat ass. I read somewhere they had to pad her booty. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

I was never really into Lynda Carter, but she is way hotter than this new girl. My Legacy

'Wonder Woman' Costume Gets an UpgradeBy Mike Krumboltz, Yahoo! Buzz | Wednesday, March 30, 2011, 11:35 AM2097 comments

When "Wonder Woman" announced that Adrianne Palicki had been cast in the title role, buzz on the superhero show quickly shot through the roof. But then fans got a look at the ill-advised costume. Outrage quickly ensued. And hell hath no fury like a comic fan outraged.
The anger stemmed from Wonder Woman's shiny, rubber-like pants and high heels. It looked like a cheap version of a "sexy" Halloween costume. Fans cried out -- this is no way for a superhero, especially one of the most beloved of all time, to dress.
The blogosphere immediately went into cynical overdrive. Commenters on EW's article speculated that the show would be canceled in a matter of weeks. SlashFilm wrote that the outfit did little to inspire confidence in the show's prospects.

Apparently the producers of the show were listening. Some photos of the actress on ...e surfaced, and eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted the changes to Wonder Woman's threads. The shiny pants have been replaced by a more natural-looking fabric. Her footwear has gone through a transformation as well. The bright boots, which were once blue, are now red. And, even more important, no more high heels.
But even though some of Wonder Woman's outfit has changed, much of it remains the same. The red bustier is still intact as are her trademark tiara and lasso of truth. Time will tell if these modest changes to Wonder Woman's threads have a positive effect on the show when it premieres on NBC this fall.
Ms. Palicki is probably best known her work on the acclaimed TV series "Friday Night Lights." And though she isn't well known, fans seem to be pretty supportive of her taking up the tiara. That includes Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the beloved (and campy) TV show from way back when. Carter even liked the original outfit, saying: "What's not to like! Adrianne [Palicki] looks gorgeous."

Why in the hell are they getting rid of the high heels? Wonder Woman is supposed to be sexy. Andy is a four letter word.

It's like they heard the negative fan reaction and sent someone out to Kmart to buy some sweatpants they could Bedazzle some stars onto.

The comments on that page are hilarious! Don't those fools realize the bathing suit she wears in the comics would look silly on the screen?

Purists might gag but I would much rather see Beyonce in the original tv outfit run and strut her non-acting self (remember, Lynda couldn't act either ) givin me CAMP than watch this woman in this get up. She's like Ambien with tits.

They should just give up entirely. It's a no-win situation, really. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Her boobs...um...
Eh, nevermind.
I acutally had a pair of jogging pants like that. Stars and all, lol. I was like five when I had them. It's like they took away the shiny, added some other stuff, then removed the necessary details. They should just stop before all the fans start setting things on fire.

I actually mean it about Bey. She has the BAM! body factor to pull off the Lynda Carter outfit (there's a part in the video "Telephone" where she even looks WW-ish ). And while she may not be a great dramatic actress, I think she can pull off camp (Austin Powers). I haven't read any current WW's, I'm sure they're full of angst and all kinds of serious shit, but I love love love the originals. They were ALL about ridiculousness. :mushy: I'm trying to think who else would be fierce (and most importantly FUN) as WW and keep coming up blank. Someone said Michelle Rodriguez would be hot...I don't want my WW to be an angry lesbian.

^ Just remembered that Telephone vid...Totally agree.... if only for giving us the look and filling out the outfit...Beyonce would be fantastic. [Edited 3/31/11 9:15am]

I think this entire project is a fail. But the new (tv show) costume is better than their first attempt.
