You do have to go to China to get real Chinese food. Thai food seems to be better here, for some reason and you don't eat dogs or cat like you may eat there..lol

This thread got me straight-up feenin' for some Thai food now. It's all I can think about right now.
I think I should treat myself. I've eaten almost nothing in the last 3 days because my stomach has been hurting so bad. But all the places round here are like.... fancy restaurants. I ain't about to go on my own!
hmmmm.....
Lets hit it! I'll pick you up about 8. Is that cool? Damn thread It made me go out and get some pad thai for the first time last night. I wanted to like it , but those bitches didn't make it right! so I got home wit it and transformed it. I call it 'Famous' Thai. That Shit was Dee-motherfuckin-Lish!
I'm down, let me just get on that plane...
You gotta go to the real, family owned, hole-in-the-wall, motherfuckers-dont-speak-no-english joints to get the REAL shit. I remember I went to a chain Thai restaurant once, I didn't see no Thai people working there. Food was just....aiiiight. It wasn't that real shit.
Same deal with most foods I suppose. I have yet to find a single indian restaurant that comes anywhere NEAR close to the stuff my aunt makes at home. and the ones that came closest were the ones actually IN india. lol. |
