I was blonde for a period when I was 19-20. I remember definitely getting more male attention as a blonde than with any other color I’d had up to that point. As for why – I was just playing with my hair and playing with my looks. Especially at that time in my life, fashion and how I looked was a hobby of mine. I’d spend hours getting ready to go out at night. Getting ready, creating new outfits and looks was a huge part of the fun.

I didn’t need to color my eyebrows as I have been blessed with chameleon-esque coloring. Somehow my skin and features work well with every hair color I’ve had, be it blonde, red, orange, brown or black. When I had jet black hair (when I was 21) I just darkened my brows ever so slightly with a pencil. I remember a friend wondering how I did it.

I would never ever dye my hair blonde. I am a die hard brunette.

Being blonde just isn't --- ME.

I look white as it is, I don't need another reason for people to think I'm ethnically European.

I don't get why it's so special either. It only looks good on pale people and some tan people.

Black hair is the best hair color though...it's just sexy on all skin tones

Simply because I was born blonde, and I'm too young to have gray hair.

co-sign although i had a thing for blondes when i was younger but now i like brunette or darker hair than that.

Ha my friend had blond hair, and I have dark hair.. She would get the blonde stares, and I would get the body stares..

I am pale and I look aweful with blonde or black hair . Both colours make me look more pale.

Blonde hair looks great on blonde women.

Its a complexion thing... some shades look better on certain people.

Wear what brings out your features best.... I can wear ANY shade of hair color. I kept it natural since I stopped working in a hair salon as a colorist.

I am a natural level 2 (darkest brown) raven haired... but every now and then I see a new gray hair, they just make the black sparkle for now.

as a general rule, I think that your hair should be darker than your skin.

So when I see the Playboy style platinum blonde, it usually does not look great to me--including Marilyn Monroe who to me looks beautiful despite her hair.

But there are women with naturally blond hair that is almost white. They look good to me because it's natural.

I'm not saying don't dye your hair, but the platinum blonde is not my favorite look.

I get my hair highlighted (not totally blond) to cover up my gray hairs.

98% of ppl dyeing their hair blonde can't pull it off. i love the stages of bleach. white ends..yellowish middle,orange then black roots...so sexy

worset dye job i seen was a pretty latina with a mullet. top of her head was short black and spiky and the back was white blonde down to her waist with a good 3" of black roots

i don't like golden or brassy. i like that inbetween carmel-ish dark ash blonde color like fergie and jennifer aniston

There was a stat mentioned a few years ago promoting the NBA on TNT, and they thre up a tidbit about how 70% of NBA cheerleaders had blonde hair, but of those 70%, only 40 percent were natural blondes.

At any rate, I love ladies with blonde hair. Then again I love ladies with red hair, ladies with brown hair, ladies with jet black hair, ladies with dyed blue, pink and purple hair as long as they are cool like PunkMistress.

good point. I am certainly not going to judge someone I like just because her hair is bleached blond

How can you tell a woman is a natural blond if she's wearing mascara and knickers?

Men are easy because they don't wear mascara and eyebrown pencil and often have sideburns, thick arm hair, or mustaches that match the hair color on their head. I have been thrown off by a few red-headed men though; red beard and blonde head hair.

that's funny I assumed that was natural (or maybe just "helped" a little bit) blonde

I wish I had really dark brown hair, but my features would just get washed out I've never tried blonder

i like light highlights in my hair rather than fully blond.....

i do it because i like it - sometimes i forget how much i prefer my hair lighter and go dark again

it's just preference.

some women look great as blonds, not me tho

i dont think men r that fussy about hair colour, well not the shallow ones anyway

Where women are concerned, there are some beautiful blondes out there, but I tend to find ladies with dark hair most attractive, across the ethnic range.

Where men are concerned, I find blond hair workable at all almost exclusively on white guys. And of white guys, I find those with some range of brown hair most attractive.

Blonde hair doesn't work on everybody.
